it always makes me sad that handong can't see her family often like the other girls can (especially now due to covid) but i'm happy she talks with them often. her parents birthday message during the concert made me tear up tbh
I just always have this mentality that people are more attractive with no or light makeup because they look like real people, like someone I might meet on the street. Not a larger-than-life idol image that a company is trying to sell me.
I just remember when the producers of Idol Ground ask JiU which member she would introduce to her younger brother so they can go on a date... And she said "no one". Big sister protecting her baby brother from ChaosCatcher
Its so cute they called each others' parents 'Appa-nim' and 'Omma-nim' lol in asian custom we called them like that when we are close to the family members
Despite not knowing their families' physical identities (which we shouldn't need to know!), I'm really thankful that DC do feel safe and comfortable enough to discuss their family. It's probably really hard on them, being away from their family for so long, and I'm sure it'd be even harder if they felt they weren't allowed to discuss their family, and keep all of their emotions hidden inside. So, thank you DC for trusting us with sections of your personal lives, and thank you to DCs' parents for giving birth to and loving and supporting these amazing, life-changing women! They wouldn't be here without you, nor would they be as happy and open as they are, if they didn't have your support and wishes! 너무 너무 감사합니다! 행복한 휴일 보내세요! ❤
I think it's unlikely companies stop performers from talking about their families, but some performers or their families might not feel comfortable with them being in the public eye. The performers themselves already have their private lives pretty intruded on.
Honestly one of the *best* DC family moments for me was the first concert they had after HD came back to Korea. Her mom's voice appeared after a set, congratulating her. It meant a lot, as to-date, HD's parents haven't seen her perform yet. HD and the members absolutely broke down in tears. And so did I. ㅠㅠ
Sua's mom has to deal with a lot hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 having a menace as your daughter is a handful but she's also the sweetest person alive 🥺 i love to see deukae surrounded by so much love 🥰🥰
Yoohyeon's brother saying "how much do you need" when she said "I love you" will ever not be funny🤣🤣 That's pure siblings energy. That would be my brothers' reaction too if I ever say that. I don't think I have ever said "I love you" to them in my whole life. We express our love by actions😆 Yoohyeon's brother saying no to her borrowing his car is literally my brothers' saying no when I wanted to learn driving with their cars 😭😂 How did you miss the two clip of Yoohyeon's mom on Nadol especially the one 9f her asking Yoohyeon about her delivery that looks like bottle on a call😭😭 I wonder if Yoohyeon's Mom has found out about her tattoos 😭 Yoohyeon mentioned on Nadol that she has an older sister and a younger brother, but I don't think she has said much about them yet( correct me if am wrong) Jiu's Mom is so cute (her reaction when she was told that she's cute🥺) and wholesome and sweet too(from that nadol's video 🥺) And I can see where Jiu inherited her Dad's joke habits from🤣🤣 Sua's fam is just craazy (in a good way) and wholesome as her. She always watch and comment on her vlive 🥺 And omg Gahyeon is so fineee Dami talking to her fam in vlive🥺🥺 Dami's mom seems to be cute, from what Gah and Yubs described about her Omg Siyeon's Mom is as cute as Siyeon, her tiny voice 😆 Siyeon's Sis was so brave for protecting when a stranger was tryna kidnap them, a true hero That calls with three of their Moms at the end is so wholesome
Even if for brief moments, we can really understand where their extraordinary personality from extraordinary parents comes from 😊 And please let me especially say that of Jiu whose being so loving comes from super loving parents, I still remember that beautiful episode on Nadol TV where I call her mother and brother, Wow it was truly heart melting, and I recommend really to see it to those who have not yet done so but also that of the other members 😊👍 Kit thank you very much for this video that is really perfect at Christmas time 😋☺️❤️❤️❤️
The whole ‘엄빠따르릉’ segment of Jiu actually made me fall for the band. It feels as if how much she has been loved and supported by her family is emanating from her personallity. Not that I’m saying that other members are in different case, but rather, it seems to be contributing to how great and kind leader/member that she is today.
This compilation proves how easy to prevent your idol avoiding mental health issue, just give them freedom to use their smartphone for calling their families. With families as back up they can through harsh moment in their careers easily because they always there as a support. 👌🏼
Words can't describe how grateful I am that these girls have such loving families to support them. Also that Siyeon episode with them almost getting kidnapped 😱😱 I couldn't bare to imagine an alternate reality with a Siyeon-less Dreamcatcher
