The Chinese sense of humor is quite different that the Korean one. Koreans avoid sarcasm because it's considered to be rude while Chinese love it. Handong gets away with it because she does it in such a cute playful way. I think the Korean members are a little envious of that ability.
Yeah, I think Gahyeon try the most but sounds a little bit rude because she don't have the touch and timing that sarcastic humor needs as Handong does.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Dongie is literally one of the most confident idols in kpop after returning from her absence. Which is even more astounding if you know why she left. A lot of newer somnias missed out on the fandom trauma of OT6 era, but for those of us who remember how sad it was at times, it's so unbelievably gratifying that this is the result. It was all worth it.
I stanned DC during their rest period after promoting BEcause and trust me, I know what u meant. This channel taught me a lot about DC especially during those times. Even by just watching their old vids during those times, I can feel their missing and longing for Handong. For them to be complete again. I can't help but imagine what would happen to DC if ever Handong won that show and became a part of that program's girl group. I'm glad that she came back stronger, more confident, more chaotic.
@@Scar.205 True but it wasn't just "handong isn't here and we're sad", it got meshed together with pandemic anxiety for most of us because that was the reason, and then it was still the recent aftermath of the deja vu rigging so basically everyone was scared and confused over that too, honestly the whole thing was pretty insane when you add it all up. We really have to thank Deukae for writing Scream and giving us the perfect outlet for our feelings because as a fandom we very much collectively just wanted to scream during that time.

Dong Dong! The Dongie that left for China is completely different from the one that returned. The Dongie from before was not one that kept wreaking me, but the Dongie that came back does- hence why she is now my “Wrecker of Wreckers” as she wreaks my bias wreckers of JiBo and my biases of SingBin on a daily basis. The Dongie that came back is confident in all phases- singing, dancing, speaking Korean and thus her hilarious savage personality comes out. The previous shy nature what’s definitely linked to her lack of confidence in speaking Korean and confidence in her vocals. But now her vocals have vastly improved to where Dongie should be labeled Vocalist, not sub-vocalist. Hilarious,savage, adorable. While Dongie is an I she can come off as an E with the right circumstances. Pre Youth with You Handong showed glimpses of her funny, but did not truly embrace it till her return. ❤❤❤
