Hai… I need a help. I have 10 rows and row wise I have name and I have 7 technologies name as column heading. Those name who knows the technology will mark as Yes and others as No in the cells and blanks also. So if I select the names of technology on a drop-down and yes or No on another drop down I want to get all the names who knows the selected technology. How can I do it
Your table with 10 names, 7 technologies, and the yes/no data should be present on the ws. Put this formula in the top cell of the range where your names will spill to: =CHOOSECOLS(FILTER(HSTACK(Name,INDEX(Data,0,MATCH(TechSelect,Headers,0))),INDEX(Data,0,MATCH(TechSelect,Headers,0))=YesNoSelect),1) Create Named Ranges in your worksheet using this guide: "Name" is the first column in your table, do not include column header. "Data" is all of the data in the table, do not include column headers. "TechSelect" is the cell where your technology selection dropdown is, "YesNoSelect" is the cell where your Yes No dropdown is. "Headers" is the range of cells that make up the top row of your table. Have fun!
