Definitely need the ability to download tracks for offline use. Relying on wifi streaming while DJ ing is just asking for dropouts & disasters.
Be good if it had offline mode.
One suggestion I would recomend is that TIDAL should have the BPM Set automatically.. with out having to load the song.

If you analyze all your playlist on Serato without the controller being connected its work i just analyze all my TIDAL playlist at the same time last night only using my laptop without the cotroller and yes it worked all BPM are there now
@@DjMannyUK Just be careful with this if you've added custom beatgrids to tracks, because if you re-analyze a file you've already taken the time to fix a beatgrid on, your beatgrid changes will be lost!

My Tidal playlist in Serato are incomplete. It shows me not all tracks. Not in all playlist, but in some, i´m using the latest version of Serato. What can i do?

Hey there - Tidal in Serato requires you to have a live internet connection.
Can you edit the order of your tracks within the created playlist
I signed the tidal to use in Serato dJ pro , it fulfills the function of importing the play list to the Serato dJ pro libraries, but for example: if a guest asks for a song and I add a play list, I need to close and open it Serato so that it is recognized… , if it were direct it would be very interesting, is there any setting that I can adjust this?
Hey Renilson! You can stream songs that aren't already in your library by using the search function. To do this, just click the TIDAL icon next to the search bar, type your query, and then hit enter.
If you're adding files to your TIDAL library outside of Serato, you will need to restart the app or disable/re-enable "Show Streaming Library" before they show up - please note that this will eject any streaming tracks that are loaded to the decks at that time.

can you download songs to the device with tidal to ensure constant playback? only thing i am worried about it a song cutting out or buffering due to crappy internet connection.
This feature isn't possible right now, but it would be a great feature to add.
I thought the song downloads 1st to prevent drop outs? Am I thinking about Denon?

An internet connection is required for streaming tracks via Tidal.

Can you play Tidal Videos using Serato Video?
None of my Tidal playlists show up on Serato DJ Pro. My Tidal account shows up on Serato DJ Pro. All of the songs in my library show up but no playlists. Someone help please.
I use Tidal with Serato pro and a DDJ-1000SRT controller for a while now and i noticed that when i load a new song i always have to dial the Software Gain back if i don't the song sounds distorted. i also use Serato video and it would be nice to make use of the Tidal music video Database that they have. however Serato does not support that yet 🙄
Hey there - thanks for the suggestion RE: Tidal videos. In terms of your gain issues with Tidal tracks, please check if Auto Gain is on, and if so, turn it down. Please email us at support@serato.com if you need any more help
@@SeratoHQ I played around with Auto gain. Auto gain is on and i have set it lower than recommended, But somehow it doesn't really affect tracks that i have never played on Tidal, i just set the software gain a bit down and then Serato Pro will remember that setting when i load that track in again.

No sorry, currently it's only possible to have one streaming service active in Serato at once

Its cool, but I tried to use it at a gig and the internet connection wasn't good and the load time was horrible and it wasn't usable, there need to be a way to save the songs to Serato at least, im canceling my subscription after the trial.

This is possible. I would recommend talking to your mobile phone service provider for more information on high speed connection plans.
I analyzed my entire tidal library on my Mac Pro. How do I use my MacBook 💻 now to use the tracks I analyzed with another computer. Not possible?

Yes, you will need WIFI enabled when streaming Tidal files via SDJ Pro.

djbam97 doesn’t matter Macs aren’t perfect. Just have an SSD with lots of HD space and lots of processing speed

All of a sudden new playlists I've been creating in Tidal are not appearing in Serato. I've tried closing Serato and relaunching it without seeing the new playlists shown in Serato. This forced me to create those Tidal playlists inside Serato however, I had to keep scrolling to the playlist to add each track as Serato resets the last spot you scrolled to (the desired playlist you were adding the new tracks to), which was very frustrating since I had many tracks to add. Lastly, I've noticed some 'Current Session' playlists automatically are being created in Serato. Why is this happening and how do I disable this auto playlist creation feature I had no idea existed? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about going back to Rekordbox if I can't find a solution. Thanks!

Yes, it is on the venue to carry license for club gigs, private gigs dont need a license in most states, you only need a license if you are playing at a public gig where the venue has no license or there is no venue to license.

Yes, you must be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to stream tracks from TIDAL.

can you record a mix though with music from tidal?
You can't record within Serato with while using streamed tracks, sorry. This is due to licencing issues.

Depending on your hardware there may or may not be a power button, if there isn't just unplug the hardware and this will turn it off

get Spotify onboard. they are the biggest music streaming service in the world not to mention the accessibility to all genres. Not all artist upload to tidal unfortunately.
first of all your knowledge of the music game is off. Tidal gives more to the artist, Spotify gives less why would they give access to Spotify so you can play their music at a show and pay them less. Get Familiar
This video highlights a MASSIVE deficiency in TIDAL. I should not have to disconnect my hardware to see the BPM in my search. This pretty much renders TIDAL useless to me.
In Virtual DJ, the DJ Pool shows BPM upon search without disconnecting your hardware. Crazy!

No, Serato doesn't support tidal tracks being saved offline. Hopefully this is something we can add in the future.
