Viewers tuned in for entertainment, but also for instruction and insight.
    The series aired successively over the CBS, ABC, and NBC networks, consistently attracted 16 million viewers to each episode, and won more than 65 awards, including nine Emmys and two Peabody awards.

    So happy to see these old clips of Wrights interviews. He was without a doubt a flawed man. But undeniably a very gifted man too. I thank God these old video clips of him are still with us. They are the closest things we have to a time machine. Allowing those of us who never knew the man in life, to both see and hear his thoughts directly as he spoke them.

    Interesting how the interviewer doesn't accept his thoughts that go against his cultural norms and gets excited over others, such as marrying a rich woman, but Wright cuts him off and will not go down that road.

    If a person lived outside of society it would be interesting to see how they would design their home. No ideas in their head.

      The book is called "Frank Lloyd Wright on Architecture" a small A5 book published in his latter days. Gave me a new depth of respect and admiration towards Wright
