Thanks for the video. I'm going to buy this rack for my 21. I'll probably put something soft over the exposed bolt heads for the rack inside the trunk. Seems like they could scratch a helmet etc.

The Pro’s Corner presents! Love it! Chris, you are going to sell a-lot of these Gold Strike trunk racks. Good looking as it really fills out the space with a robust rack. The LED is high lumen and automotive quality. IMO, any Gold Strike product(s) are well worth the investment. Significantly higher visibility in being seen, and the bike comes alive. It pops. It’s lighting Sport mode. 😂Once again. Organized and nicely done.

You've got that bike tricked out. Is it a 21 or 2022? Have you ever considered or looked at the Remus exhaust. They're pretty easy to install

Did the OEM Honda rack come with stronger struts? I don’t see that they come with this one, but I want to say I’ve been told the Honda one does. Can you confirm? Guess I’m concerned that the trunk won’t hold itself up with the extra weight

Hi Chris. Which rack do feel is better, the Honda OEM or the Goldstrike?
The thickness of the Aluminum construction of both racks appears to be the same thickness but the Goldstrike is a little bit taller and little bit wider than the Honda OEM rack, the Honda rack has a lower profile which makes it hard to clean the trunk lid but you can actually get you hands under the Goldstrike rack to wipe the outter trunk. I guess its just a matter of personal preference.

Exactly right Chris. Got mine today. Sweet Luggage rack. The rack is wider, looks more robust as it fills the trunk space more effectively, IMO. The ease of cleaning is a plus and the RBT light is bigger placed right where you need it, high and center. The addition of the Light Strike application of the Gold Strike is a unique custom feature that no other accessory maker currently offers, and probably won’t, due to the Design Patent of the Gold Strike would prevent that.

Did you say it holds a maximum weight of 5 pounds? That doesn't seem like very much.
The weight construction of the rack feels a lot stronger than 5 lbs, the weakest link is probably the trunk itself. Goldstrike is covering themselves just in case a dummy attempts to loads a 100 lb bag on the trunk. In my opinion the Honda Trunk would fail before the Goldstrike Aluminum rack would.
