I have owned all of the prior versions of the Acoustasonic and eventually sold them. This one is to my ears the best sounding version both acoustically and the humbucker is better than the single coil version. Nice work Fender. We need more videos on this.
These are the most beautiful and featured Fender guitars-playing that ebony fret board feels like gliding through a smooth scotch on a rocks on a sweltering day. They’re that good 🎸
People for some reason cannot wrap their head around the purpose for this guitar. Its main purpose is to be played live!!! When I plug my Martin dreadnaught into the PA system… it’s difficult to really tell a difference. Yes for recording and playing at home this makes no sense. Don’t hate on it because you only play in your bed room lol
Makes great sense for recording and playing at home. It's filled with great tones that record well, and gives you a variety of choice out of the box that cant be had with a regular guitar. This is a special guitar that has practical applications everywhere you want to play it. The clean electric tone at the end solidifies that for me. It sounded just fine.
Finally they remove the weird piezo mode from the player series. That should have been the norm from the beginning. Sure you can use them to load other irs, but that really defeats the purpose of the guitar. Kudos for that!
@fender I love both for different reasons. I love both of the colorways ,but the one I would pick is the LE because it's so beautiful with the way it's all white look and specs that are baked into it. Plus it's made in the USA.
So glad to see the full guitar painted on the American model... the usual finish looks annoyingly incomplete. It's actually stopped me from getting one.
Come on, #Boss Fender is the most awesome thing out there, these just so sound bad, take all the buzz and mixes off, these are terrible sounding guitars at best... Come on Fender this is not you...
If you play an acoustic in a live application this is a great option, because an electric acoustic sounds exactly the same but this acoustic has the added benefit of a full electric guitar tone as well making it more versatile for live applications
But seriously… who plays this as a substitute for a full electric? Typically guitarists will grab an acoustic if they want acoustic sound, then grab an electric for extrication tones. Maybe this would appeal to a street busker, but even in a coffee shop situation, a guitarist has enough space and control over the room to set up a guitar stand for a second guitar. That’s just my take though.
@@jasonswitzer1748I don’t know about you but I would rather not have to take an extra guitar for a gig or an open mic. Especially if you have to rely on public transportation.
@@jasonswitzer1748 Most people aren't getting these as a replacement for their electric or acoustic guitars. It's mainly for live performances that have acoustic intros or sections throughout so you don't have to switch guitars constantly. Not that big a deal for me personally, but it makes a ton of sense to get one for anyone that plays a decent mix of acoustic and electric parts. Also cuts out the hassle of hauling around a full size acoustic with a dedicated stand and having to mic it up for every show.
Not for me.. it doesn’t do anything well. Mediocre acoustic.. I mean have you ever played an acoustic in that price range? You would be blown away. Certainly not those horrible scooped medium frequencies. The electric is a one trick pony and that neck is not as playable as a tele or a strat, certainly not with those acoustic strings! 😂 The chorus.. again this is a bit of a gimmick for those wannabe strummers. Totally unnecessary and once again very limited. Just get yourself an $80 second hand Boss CH-1 and a $10 cable and you have a much nicer sound quality with flexibility on sculpting your own sound. Honestly this guitar sounds crap and is massively overpriced. If you have issues with feedback when playing live cover your sound hole or just work on your EQ, phase and notch. Have you ever seen a Tommy Emmanuel playing live with an acoustisonic because of his feedback issues in front of a 10000 people? No. He doesn’t even have a sound hole cover and plays through thousands of watts speakers. The live no-feedback is the only marketing tool these guys have. Save yourself $2200 , buy a good quality acoustic maybe second hand for 600-800 and a brand new tele player series for just as much. And you’ve got some money left for a few pedals. It’s a no brainer!
It’s very easy to find out if he does. There’s this thing called the internet. There’s a WEALTH of information out there on it. I bet you can find your answer there. But I can also tell you that yes. He does. And I bet if you search RUclips for something like “Finneas playing guitar” and you’ll find something.
I know you probably have a bias against new music but yes finneas plays guitar himself including in the songs he does for him or his sister billie eilish
Yes, folks who bothered to reply, you're right, i've seen him play an open A major chord, a G and mostly a C chord in a clip. Some Ds. He definitely can play guitar! But i still wonder, anyone seen him play a barre F? (very treacherous chord, mostly at the first fret).

you should mention the superb playing, which makes instrument demos like this so much better! 💯
they picked the perfect dude to demo it!
Apriciate Fenders fan will appreciate this beauty guitar
I love the white one. Glad to see these are still going strong!

As if you have live the best sound 😅.. what a bs comment

These are beautiful guitars
Which one are you rockin' with?

Damn that looks and sounds AMAZING. Those tones are sooooo clean. Fender picked the PERFECT guy to demo this too! Hell yeah Fender, keep it up!
They look pretty cool, also liked them being made in U.S. Japan would be also nice. Man, a full Vintage Nitro finish, would be die for. :D
When can i get this american model? 😢😢
This is a signature guitar, but they can't get the artist to demo it?
I think these are cool. Want.
DONUT DOCTOR CONTENT!!!!
Would of liked finneas doing it talking about it why he chose etc
Heck no.. I’m just barely learning the basics.. The only rockin’ out on guitar is in my head!😂.. although sometimes I play a pretty mean air guitar😎
In my country Bolivia it costs 5 thousand dollars too much expensive 😢
Intentaste importarla con WM Music Store o Topbox?
Finneas SHOULD be doing this add though 😢
Ikr
Ya he does
Very good this guitar acustic Telecaster Fender cool well the finish too much same 🎸🤘🎸
$1400 bucks, and not even give me a body sensor...
Come on, #Boss Fender is the most awesome thing out there, these just so sound bad, take all the buzz and mixes off, these are terrible sounding guitars at best...
Come on Fender this is not you...
They’re nice but who’d want an acoustic that doesn’t sound as good as real acoustic?

Does Finneas even play guitar? Real guitar, not samples in a daw.
yes he does

He also plays keyboard, piano, bass guitar, etc etc. He’s pretty versatile. Multi talented.
