എന്റെ നാടായ തൃശ്ശൂരിനോളം തന്നെ ഞാൻ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്ന നാടാണ് പാലക്കാട്‌. അവിടെ ഒരു 2 വർഷം ഒറ്റപ്പാലത്തു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.. അതോടെ ഇഷ്ടം കൂടി. ഈ ഗ്രാമം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കാണാൻ ആഗ്രഹം. ഈ ഗ്രാമീണ ഭംഗി എന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നെ നില നിൽക്കട്ടെ.

കോട്ടയംകാരൻ ആണെങ്കിലും പാലക്കാടുമായി വളരെയധികം ആത്മബന്ധം പുലർത്തുന്ന ഒരാളാണ് ഞാൻ. എന്റെ ഒരുപാട് ബന്ധുക്കളും മറ്റും പാലക്കാട് ഉള്ളതിനാൽ വളരെ ചെറുപ്പം മുതലേ തന്നെ വർഷത്തിൽ കുറഞ്ഞത് ഒരു 10,12 തവണ എങ്കിലും പാലക്കാട് വരാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ വലുതായപ്പോൾ പാലക്കാടിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടവും വലുതായി. പാലക്കാടൻ ഗ്രാമങ്ങൾ പോലെ ഇത്രയും ശാന്ത സുന്ദരമായ ഇടങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വേറെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. പല്ലാവൂരും, പല്ലാശനയും, ഷൊർണൂരും ഒറ്റപ്പാലവും നെന്മാറയും പരിയാനംപറ്റയും കോങ്ങാടും എല്ലാം എത്ര കണ്ടാലും വീണ്ടും എന്നെ മോഹിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പാലക്കാടൻ സുന്ദരികളാണ്❤️❤️
