Roads policing units were and still are a specialist and scarce resource. So if they need a few units for a serious RTC then you can't guarantee all RPU patrols to be nearby.
Not being funny but you've just travelled miles to wherever this was, then it stopped. You were ON TOP of Merseyside Police HQ, surely to Christ there was someone nearer in there?
When was this recorded mate? As when the driver(or passenger) answered that radio message at the beginning I thought I recognised the voice! Rough year will do if your not sure of exact time, cheers
Firecop3482 I had a feeling that was a V6 of some sort, sounded rather meaty. Very nicely driven. I'd love to know what planet that Micra driver was on...
Its shocking that the police are spread so thinly these days that they have to travel such long distances to respond to an incident!
Exactly though I would have thought the casualty would be more in need of a emergency paramedic than a emergency police officer.
They had paramedics en route police just assist in closing roads, gathering evidence, managing the scene etc.
That's because all the others are out harassing law abiding members of the public or sat collecting revenue from speed tickets

Bloody Nissan at the end! The cop said what I was thinking!
Shows how thinly 5 0 are spread these days. Why was a car on the outskirts of the city responding to a shout at the Albert Dock??
Apparently this was 11yrs ago so they're probably even more thin on the ground now!

@@joshuahawkes7218 read the description.
Police HQ is generally an administrative center.
did the police garage fit the siren inside the car as some sort of joke on the boys :) fantastic driving and V6 roar though
From my school to my house in under 5 minutes... Police should give takies!

It was filmed in 2005 and making enquiries it was indeed a Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 my mistake.
Cheers for that, I'm positive I know one of them who were in that car that day!

+Firecop3482 and they never did a 2.5 v6 in that model vectra FYI it's a 3.2 v6 that you were driving. Known locally as the 'chase Vec' ha
All the way from Menlove Ave to town is a joke. Much respect for the police for getting there in the time they did.

Liam L. Description was wrong. OP admitted in another comment from 4 years ago that the car is indeed a Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6.
