Vengurla, a coastal town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra in the Sindhudurg district, is renowned for its beaches like the Sagareshwar beach, backwaters like the Mandvi creek, and greenery by the mangroves. Its ancient temples like the Sagareshwar Temple reflect the town's rich cultural heritage. 🛕
It's famous for its fresh seafood dishes, like tasty fish curries and crispy fried seafood. They use special spices that give a unique flavour to the food, the Malvani Masala. This is such a beautifully done series, with some great food highlights. Plus it is so sweet how you can see the friendship between them strengthen in each episode as they share jokes, food and experiences. Truly a lovely depiction of food, friendship and Maharashtra.
Its a Malvani food not Konkani food! Its wrong to label the entire food from west coast of Maharashtra as 'Konkani Food'. Usually the food from Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra is termed as 'Malvani Food'. The food from Goa or from karwar belt of karnataka is termed as Konkani food. This clarity is necessary to maintain the identity.

Vengurla is my birthplace. By watching this episode it made me go into a flashback to when my family used to come to Vengurla at my grandmother's house. It is so much changed now. the market is renovated. The beach were all my cousins and sisters used to play that temple were first we used to worship and then used to go on the beach. those kaju ladoo and famous koktail
