Took delivery of an Oxygen White Limited with Tech package 3 days ago. Overall I’m very impressed. It is an extremely quiet, competent highway cruiser. Fit and finish is impeccable. The performance is better than I expected. The engine noise is much less than some reviews led me to expect. The seats are very comfortable. Little road or wind noise. Don’t miss a HUD or opening moon roof. Do miss a powered steering column. I also scratch my head at a hood prop rod and lack of ambient lighting in a $53,000 vehicle. (After the Toyota Gulf region distributor added a bunch of options) My other vehicle is a 2024 MDX Advance trim. The Crown’s AWD system can’t compare to Acura SH-AWD. The Crown drives more like a FWD sedan. Way more understeer than the Acura. The MDX interior definitely feels much more premium than the Crown’s. On the other hand, the Crown’s touch screen interface beats the hell out of the MDX’s “true touch” interface. 36 mpgs on regular gas also beats the hell out of 20.5 mpg on premium.
We just got ours yesterday in Ottawa Canada and we loveeeee it The ride comfort is outstanding It does not look as station wagon as I thought, very lux
We just ust bought a 25 Crown Signia VLE this past week. Very pleased with the perceived value of the car. The finish and fit of the body and interior finishes are top level. Only surprising result is a rather loud engine noise in the cabin.
Been loyal to the brand for 30 years but waiting 6 months to a year for this vehicle is the biggest problem for me. Stop showing new or re-designed Toyotas without having any supply. Its a pointless exercise! Toyota needs to seriously address and fix their supply issues in Canada. Personally I have lost confidence in Toyota's reliability . . . I don't think today's vehicle reliability is as strong as it was yesterday. Sadly its time to consider other automotive brands as i begin the search for my new car
You can buy your Toyota from any dealer in the country or state online then have it shipped or get it yourself. In my case, I was waiting for a '25 Camry at one dealership, when I happened upon a Crown Limited at another location that I pass regularly. They had 2 Crowns, a limited and XLE, and a new Camry XLE in stock. I was beyond shocked and drove away with the Crown after test driving the Camry and Crown.
That's what I want to say, I've been waiting for highlander hybride platinum white for 26 months. My dealer keep saying " only several car deliever to dealer every month"
I checked one out on the lot. Thought I might be able to pull it off. But factor in Insurance and extras. I quickly realized this is not the car for us. We finished up the paper work and took our new Camry home.
Don't blame you. It is a nice product but the top model here in Canada works out to around $72k taxes in and that is before finance fees or any of the other "extras" your selling dealer might try to include. If I was shopping this category I personally would buy a nice 2-3 year old CPO RX450H. Problem is that many of these late model Toyota/Lexus products are absolute theft magnets in certain parts of Canada so the insurance costs are high.
Huge upgrade over the old, boring Venza 👍 It’s basically a sleeper Lexus. No thanks on the massive glass heat generating sunroof. Incredible long range highway cruiser. Incredibly quiet. Stunning comfort. Superb interior. Outstanding safety features. Regular fuel bonus. Tremendous fuel economy. Ample power. This car is a huge problem for the LEXUS NX. Outstanding old folks (60+) automobile. Overpriced, crap shifter and a giant panoramic sunroof the worst negatives. 🤮 Excellent review summary ✅
I was planning on buying a '25 Camry SE without a moonroof b/c I had one start leaking in my '02 Camry in 2015, which was a nightmare to deal with health wise and physically. I bought a Crown Limited and found its non-opening moonroof acceptable. I guess it's to each his own.
Great review! Love this vehicle. Most dealers here in Sacramento, CA. have 1 on the lot, one or two on the way, I have yet to see in person, as my 06 Sequoia, and 21 4Runner aren't due for service till December ❤😊
Disappointing compared to the Venza. No automatic steering column adjustment. No folding mirrors. No heads-up display. No frosted Panaramic glass roof. No spare tire. No camera rear view mirror. I’ll take the 2024 Venza.
thanks for the review. Currently shopping for a new toyota to replace my wife's RAV4. The Crown seems like an affordable alternative to comparable Lexus SUV's. I own a 2025 Camry XSE and a 2017 Tundra Limited. It's a great car- handles sharp, AWD electric motor adds a nice kick to acceleration and the mileage is coming in around 40mpg combined. I highly recommend it.
Folks, have you been on road trips without reclining rear seats? How uncomfortable that is? $60K folks! without the very simple feature of reclining rear seats...wow! This shd be available by default on any Suv cuv wagon!
My Crown limited edition came with a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor as part of the Advanced Technology Package, which also includes a review mirror camera in case cargo blocks your view.
Nice video. I'm looking at this vehicle as well as the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. The interior of the new Santa Fe is amazing and looks great. Although Toyota is a superior brand, I still find the interior to be way too dull and conservative. Of course Toyota is, as you mentioned, the best made vehicle out there, so I'm really stuck with which direction I should take.
I hope they make improvements by adding the frosted panoramic glass roof option like the Venza. And the interior noise cancellation button option for a more quiet drive. I’d also like to see it improve especially in a much higher MPG ….. like Prius level 48-55 MPG hybrid.
I bet no cars for test drive anywhere. Wait time? 1 year?. Replacing the 21 inch rubber will be steep but hey looks good😂. I ended up with es hybrid. Good discounts and availbility for 2024s. Test drive no problems.
A must for me is an operable moonroof. Love the outside air flowing in. Enjoy an open roof on a warm summer night. So I won’t buy this, even though I find it appealing.
In regards to fuel I drive a 2012 Highlander Hybrid and run 87 octane. My question is in reference to the Sheetz 88 regular. Can it be run by late model Toyota’s?
I just bought a 2025 Crown Signia Limited, and I'm pleased. Road noise is quieter than the 2025 Camry XLE but engine noise is equally loud in both when accelerating at speed onto the freeway. The Camry has slightly quicker acceleration and weighs less, but I was impressed by both vehicles. It felt very comfy, easy and familiar handling the 2025 Camry b/c I've driven an old school '02 Camry XE for 23 years. I REALLY enjoy the height difference, luxurious look and feel of the inside and the EXTREMELY comfy seats in my Crown. The seats actually swayed me towards the Crown but it was all of the unnecessary doo dads that sealed the deal for the Limited edition. I have yet to appreciate the technical stuff like the shift lever, TSS & cruise control features or the darn A/C and fan controls. I'm an old school middle-aged driver in that sense that likes comfort over speed except for around tricky corners and empty roads then I'm a speed-racer! I'm also gonna spring for a spare-tire since I'm not a fan of the inflate kit; my old Camry had a full-sized spare.
Spare tire, information of such would be more interesting to your viewers, Please note the spare tire info, premium gas? tire info and quality of such.
I don’t understand why Toyota didn’t put 5th Gen THS into the Crown and Crown Signia bc it’s the flagship not the Camry 😂. My only hope is that Toyota is trying to work the kinks out of it before moving to the Crown lineup but that is more copium than hope. Make it make sense Toyota.
I definitely feel special when the car companies cyber stalk everything you do and sell all your data to insurance companies and who knows what other third party companies or government agencies it sells/shares your data with. ❤❤❤❤❤ Please Stalk and Share! I love this new modern trend! Stalk and sharing all around! Do I get chocolates sent to me at valentines day too? 😂😍😍🥰🤩
I think otherwise. The XLE is priced reasonable, gets great mileage, large enough for families, small enough for empty nesters. It looks good in and out ( personal preference I know).
NiMH battery on Signia is same battery tech my old 2gen Prius equipped. Cheapskate it was like tech 20years ago. Luxury line up do not use NiMH anymore.
One Day test is not a fair assessment.🤔 A test drive should be driven thu out a weeks time on different terrains. Car rentals while on vacation shows all the true faults of a vehicle.👍
If you make the camera to the car while you talking will be great But seeing you the whole video just talking then next time make a video at home better than setting in a car we do not see .

Very good choice, will last forever....build in Japan.

I test drove a Signia. I loved the car, disliked the engine noise. The droning during acceleration was really hard to ignore.
I noticed that too but it is brief… it disappears once the car reaches the desired speed.

What hesitation? I bought one…it doesn’t have that problem.
No hesitation for me at all

i really like the way this vehicle looks !!!

Build in Japan....best of the best finish. Great car, very efficient and with a very reasonable price.

The Limited has folding mirrors and a camera rear view mirror.
I agree with you. The Crown sedan can be had fully-loaded whereas the Signia cannot.
Lol
The MSRP is way too high compared to the RAV4 with similar features.
I have a 2024 Venza Limited and love it. Better price and more features than the Crown. Getting 42 MPG. Great Car!
thanks for the review. Currently shopping for a new toyota to replace my wife's RAV4. The Crown seems like an affordable alternative to comparable Lexus SUV's. Does Toyota sell a spare wheel to replace the styrofoam in the rear hatch area?
Accessory spare tires are available but they don’t fit under the floor because the cover door doesn’t close properly if a tire was positioned there.

❤❤❤ the second row headrests are so high up, hard to see the passenger side blind spot when changing lane.

Nice station wagon!
Toyota piece of mind and quality just hits different, especially with all the junk being produced nowadays.
The car guru reviewers said a beautiful classy ride but way way overpriced. No thanks..
I bet no cars for test drive anywhere. Wait time? 1 year?.
Replacing the 21 inch rubber will be steep but hey looks good😂. I ended up with es hybrid. Good discounts and availbility for 2024s. Test drive no problems.
Are their any issues if this hybrid car is parked for 2 or 3 months in a hot flordia garage in the upper 90s while taking long vacations?
Toyota is inching into Lexus territory with this one .
I don't know if I missed it, but I don't think you mentioned that there is no open sunroof.
is this gonna age well with the back looking like corolla cross
Picking our up Friday 9/20/24 in the Twin Ciites.
There is any way to track the order of the new Toyota? Thank you you for your videos and your hard work.
Not really no. There’s no way of knowing exactly when it would come
Thank you !
A must for me is an operable moonroof. Love the outside air flowing in. Enjoy an open roof on a warm summer night. So I won’t buy this, even though I find it appealing.
Aren’t the power trains in the Crown Signia and Camry the same?
I own a 2025 Crown Signia and it has power folding mirrors. I surprised.
What tire comes with the crown Signia Limited? Saw it's from Bridgestone from the video but don't know the tire name.
Bridgestone Turanza
How to set up Apple car play
Does the left gate have a kick sensor to open/close it?
Yes. The Signia has a kick sensor.

Approximate closing cost dealt? Just curious to have reference.
Can you buy a spare tire for it? Cost? Did you look at any 2024 Signia, since they come with a spare tire?
Agreed, I test drove a Signia. The engine was loud and the powertrain drones. It really ruined the experience for me.
Blind spots on Toyotas are bad at the A pillar. I have to be really careful about cross traffic in my Camry
Spare tire, information of such would be more interesting to your viewers, Please note the spare tire info, premium gas? tire info and quality of such.
This SUV will replace the venza ??
No not really

who is this car geared towards?????
I think your liters to mpg conversion is incorrect.
6.2l / 100km is 46 miles per Imperial gallon, 38 miles per US gallon
You’re way off on MPG. More like 37 combined not 47
Does it feel a little too long ?
It does not

360 camera is mandatory. What don't you mention it ?
Mandatory?
@@robertduklus6555 because it is unavailable.
Toyota Crown won't sell well because of its price tag and size.
I think otherwise. The XLE is priced reasonable, gets great mileage, large enough for families, small enough for empty nesters. It looks good in and out ( personal preference I know).
The XLE is actually cheaper than the gas highlander of the same xle level.
NiMH battery on Signia is same battery tech my old 2gen Prius equipped. Cheapskate it was like tech 20years ago. Luxury line up do not use NiMH anymore.
They needs to bring back the Avalon
Do you think I can feel what you felt-“…done something right…” with a 2024 Corolla cross hybrid?
What is the price. If its more its a waste. You can get an RX.
Personally, which would you pick: Signia or Rav4 Prime? I ask because our next vehicle will be either of those 2 and Highlander hybrid.
What can you say about the CVT engine from the reviews that is not a good engine

"Translates to 46 mpg"? Try 38 mpg.
no HUD
If you make the camera to the car while you talking will be great
But seeing you the whole video just talking then next time make a video at home better than setting in a car we do not see .
The ride quality is due to Toyota………
