I’ve watched so many Balatro runs, and have to try and pause the video at the right moment to try and see what mult certain jokers are on. This was so considerate, definitely worth a follow!
So many balatro players just play assuming you know the game as well as them, but then the other camp drones on and on for the first 10-15 minutes about everything so slowly, with two 30 second unskippable adrolls to boot before the gameplay even starts. I enjoyed the way you played this, explained it, and edited everything together. Subbed!

Audio isnt -bad- but you can get rid of the hiss with a Noise Gate in Audacity. You can also play with the other settings to your liking as well, but it will get rid of the hiss!

@_veir yeah he managed 2600 unseeded(ish, he used brainstorm reroll mod). The biggest difference i see is he was on flush fives, and he had a few more blueprints. Also idol scoring. Still awesome run, and a big ass cat😊
I agree, but the problem was the hand size (from the ecto debuffs) making it so that I only had a hand size of 4, so 4oak was pretty simple to pull off, and maybe optimal for this seed?? I guess I coulda sold a blueprint, got a +1 hand size joker, and done 5oak, but I’m too lazy to do the math to see if that would be better or not, because you would get 3 less hands, and 1 less trigger per hand, with the upside of 25% more cards? It might even out But I would have also had to get more cards from dna which would have taken longer so idk which strat would be better? Honestly you can probably (and someone else has already done this) get a lot higher on a different seed

From the shop, yes You could use the invisible joker to make a random copy, or the spectral card ankh, so there are a few ways, but to get another one from the shop you need showman
I feel like Perkeo was doing a much better job, considering each planet card would give you x1.5 mult by itself, which is equivalent to boosting lucky cat from x1000 all the way to x1500. Am I missing something?
I was trying to get the biggest possible lucky cat, and I sold perkeo for a second dice Getting the second dice in a sense doubled the rate at which my cat scales To keep perkeo and not get the second dice, I would have to survive twice as many rounds as without it for perkeo to break even, and I didn’t think I could live that long So in short, I opted to play less rounds with a faster cat growth rate than more rounds with a smaller rate Now the real question is, should I have sold a blue print for the second dice, keeping perkeo?

I didn't understand the dice rerolling section. I saw lots of blueprints. Why couldn't they be used instead of another dice?
Sadly blue prints / brainstorms can’t copy a dice’s ability, it is incompatible, so you have to get a real copy of a dice from the shop

Why do you not upgrade your planets? I know you’ve the planets in the consumables which gives 1.5 but if you upgrade the hands too that would be more mult
