Too bad many people hate the Seventh-day Adventist message, Just like people hated Jesus and His disciples and called them cult. God will work mysteriously even in the hearts of people who hate the church because those very people are like Paul, passionate for God with hate rate directed to the wrong church. Revelation 5:10 in Greek “καί ‘εποιησας αυτους τω Θεω ημων βασίλειαν και ιερεις, και βασιλευσσυσιν επί της γης.’’ This is what my Greek, Latin, Italian Bible gives (I tried my best to use the computer writing in Greek!). Revelation has been written in Greek! It means (literally):” and you had made of THEM for the God of us (=for our God) a kingdom and priests (a kingdom of priests, translated into Italian/English) and THEY’LL REIGN on the earth.”

I love the Bible and how it always explains itself if we just trust and lean on the Lord for understanding. I think sometimes we forget the book of Revelation goes too and fore from one thing to another but it all comes together with no additional books needed. I use other versions of the Bible as well but i still prefer the King James Version. Again the Bible explains itself . We just need to pray and trust God to open our hearts and souls to receive and understand his Holy Word.

Pastor Bohr does excellent expository work! He might have added that, NO translation is 100% accurate;, but KJV has the the least errors among translations. . It was a GREAT omission to infer that other translations might be more accurate in general...while the NIV he quoted has numerous errors in key areas of foundational truth--by commission AND omission.

Questions: If Adam was the representative for planet Earth; before he sinned, would he go back and forth from heaven and earth to present himself along with the other Sons of God as spoken in Job chapters 1 and 2? Also, if Earth is the only planet that is used to procreate and repopulate heaven, why would there be a need for the 24 elders? Of course the 24 elders would be sinless because no man would be on the other worlds.

Great study but this still leaves some critical questions.
Angels are never referred in to in the bible as "elders". Also if there were 24 Elders does this mean that there are 24 other worlds? Then how do you reconcile this passage from EGW:?
"By the lost sheep Christ represents not only the individual sinner but the one world that has apostatized and has been ruined by sin. This world is but an atom in the vast dominions over which God presides, yet this little fallen world-the one lost sheep-is more precious in His sight than are the ninety and nine that went not astray from the fold. Christ, the loved Commander in the heavenly courts, stooped from His high estate, laid aside the glory that He had with the Father, in order to save the one lost world. For this He left the sinless worlds on high, *the ninety and nine that loved Him*, and came to this earth, to be “wounded for our transgressions” and “bruised for our iniquities.” (Isaiah 53:5.)
Also angels are never referred to as wearing white ROBES.
What is the name of the 24kings or elders?
Pastor Bohr thank you for this study. I have one question. Revelation 4;4 states that the 24 elders were seated on seats, not thrones. Does this have any bearing on the interpretation of this verse?

Doesn’t this verse say that Father will be coming with Jesus ? And it says there was silence in heaven for half hour . Will Angels leave Father unattended for that time ? Or will the 4 living creatures stay with the Father ?
Pastor Bohr, please clarify the following. In The 24 Elder's series #3 you say that E.G. White says the representatives of the unfallen worlds are "strong angels," and 'The highest of angels.' Then in lecture #5 you say (at 14:21-32) that the 24 elders are not part of any angelic group? It appears that in lecture #3 they are strong angels then in lecture #5 you say they aren't. He means that the 24 elders are not part of the 10,000x10,000 & thousands of thousands. He’s simply making a distinction between them (the 24 elders) and the millions of angels that appear in Revelation 5. They are 2 separate groups of angels with different roles. Obviously one group are leaders/elders while the other are commissioned (hosts).

But there's no clear Bible verse which says there are other planets inhabited by people

Elder Bohr undermines his argument by not appealing to the Greek.(kai poieo outos- literally and made US) (correction: I was wrong about the meaning of the Greek, still minority text agrees with KJV see further discussion below) My E-sword LITV literal translation renders it thus.: Rev 5:10 and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth; this agrees with the Greek. Why depart from the simple literal meaning? I would be interested in how so called superior translations mangle what appears to me to be straight forward simple Greek. While the structure of the sentence seems to include the 4 Living Creatures with the 24 Elders, this may not be the case. Why wrest the wording to "correct" the logic? In fact, we should go even further and say that theses translations are under a curse! see Rev 22:19: "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." In short "men" is ADDED!
I notice that the modern translations that adhere to the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts are the ones that support his thesis. WHAT IS THE AGENDA? I've listened to Pastor Bohr's series so far and am not impressed by his logic. While he makes some good points, in many cases they fall short of proof. It would take a careful study to meet all his arguments and I will not attempt to do it here.
However, if is main argument is suspect, beware of the rest.

Hi my friend. Just a quick note-I'm afraid you are wrong in your above assertion. The Greek phrase in transliterated English is _kai epoiēsas autous_ (not _kai poieō outos)._ The word _autous_ (simply the accusative masculine plural form of _outos)_ is the Greek third person pronoun. It literally means "them" (any beginner-level Greek textbook will tell you that). In no way, shape, or form, does it mean "us," which in Greek is indicated by _ēmas,_ the accusative plural form of the first person pronoun _egō._ The fact that some other Bible versions translate _autous_ as "us" is demonstrably false and is an obvious case of translator bias. So in this case, it is Bibles like the KJV and, yes, the LITV, that have departed from the simple literal meaning. The modern translations are correct in this instance.
Hi John. I read your reply but it seems to have disappeared now. Not sure if you deleted it or if RUclips did something. I have no problem with your other arguments in favour of your view of the 24 Elders, I just wanted to address your specific assertion regarding the Greek. Personally I'm not settled either way on the identity of this group. I also think you have a point in stating that "Elder Bohr goes to a great deal of trouble over something that is not particularly important." When these sermons were initially released I remember thinking to myself that it's odd he would devote 6 full-length sermons to such an obscure point of theology. Lastly, the phrase "my friend" was made in sincerity, but I can see how it can come across as patronising-please forgive me for that. Blessings.
@@mikedawson975 I guess you don't know Stephen Bohr and his lengthy series ha ha. I love all the detail he goes into but will admit it gets to be too much sometimes. But I believe he studies like no one else that's for sure. I don't get how he puts this all together?
@@mikedawson975This afternoon I was listening to this video. I found something wrong when I was reading....the four beasts and the 24 Elders singing together, redeemed us. As I know the four beasts are seraphim. They have no need for redemption.If the 24 Elders are human beings and we put them in the investigative judgment, we have a different theology. Yes after 1000 years, we humans will judge angels and humans, but not before that !!!

We cannot put human beings on thrones to judge before the 1000 years. Then we have a completely new theology !!! The four beasts and the 24 Elders are singing together: redeemed us. Seraphim no need for redemption! Adam was the earth`s representative, he will be resurrected at Jesus` coming. How are there 24 representatives before Adam?

You beLIEve in the lies you have been taught by unlearned and unconsecrated men, who speak the doctrines of Satan. Satan is very pleased that you believe his deceit. The 24 elders are NOT from earth - period. You will find out soon enough, however, as will we all. God gave us His Word and a prophet to confirm the true doctrines of the Godhead. There is NO human in heaven except Christ (as Son of Man and Son of God), Enoch, Elijah (translated without the 1st death), Moses, and those that were resurrected when Christ was, and were taken up with Christ at His ascension. If there are any others, the Bible has remained silent regarding them. The rest of the dead are still sleeping in their graves (Hades). Study it for yourself to see if the original Greek actually says what was translated by man, who is super susceptible of applying his pet beliefs to his translations, or not. The Adventist church does not believe what you say. Many have seen the truth of the matter and have changed their understanding to be the same as Pastor Bohr’s. Many Adventists are so unfamiliar with what Ellen White has written that they THINK she never broached the subject of the 24 elders - but she did, many times over. That is pretty much all I need to know. She is as inspired as any author of the Bible. The same spirit gave her visions and insights just like He did with all of the prophets.

Agreed. There are various scripture verses that show there is a difference between the angels and the sons of God. Job 38:7 is an example. Angels are called "morning stars", "stars", "lamps", but people are always called "sons" so it stands that those of the unfallen worlds would be called "sons" as well.
So I guess you are entitled to trust to your own reasoning power, VS what one of God's prophets has validated! STUDY Job 38:7 --read it in a place like Bible Hub. Over a number of translations you will find sons of God and angels used interchangeably. But if we are too wise to hear sound doctrine, we may be found too wise for God to redeem.
