    Hi Heather! Murphys Oil Soap or Liquid Gold would do fabulous on your door and cabinets too! And M Oil can be used on all floors, even tile. I've been a house cleaner for 24 yrs after I had my kids and there are lots of uses for older products instead of using Dawn or Tide that strips polyurethane off of wood and wood flooring. I even use Pledge dusting for the stainless steel.... works just as well. I see so many RUclipsrs use antibacterial/all-purpose cleaners on furniture... it's truly not for that. Wood needs a dusting and something good that will truly repel the dust too. These are just my opinion! Not being critical... I promise, but as an older mom and housewife, I see so many get frustrated when their flooring or furniture doesn't last long. Maybe others agree, maybe not. Love you home and videos!!! Have a great weekend!!!!

    I discovered your channel just today and I know I am going to love it. I stared using Guardsman when I was 31 and am now 72. You cannot beat it. There are some others out there but they don’t compare to Guardsman. And the smell is nice too. I would not recommend anything else especially when it comes to wood. Am going to watch some more of your videos as soon as this one plays. God bless

    Great job and you’ve inspired me to get started. I’m a winter girl, love winters here in upstate New York and feel like we haven’t even had winter yet and still hoping we get it. Spring cleaning means spring is coming and I’m dreading it 😂 but you’ve definitely inspired me to get started. You’re awesome and wish I was your age and had your energy❤

    I would get faux plants or flowers for your planters. The craft stores have some very realistic looking stuff.

      Strongly considering it! Looking at stuff on Grandin Road website. They have super nice faux urn filler 😍

    Maybe gardenias in the shade? Or fushias? Why am I giving advise? I have a black thumb! I do best with succulents, try those?
    And do the pots have good drainage? My husband drill holes in my pots and that helped.

      I did drill holes in them a few years back!! I am about to stick fake plants in them and call it a day 😂

    Girl, I get tired just watching you! I love your thoroughness and wish I could get you into my house for a good cleaning. I am retired and have an autoimmune disease that would put me in a grave if I worked at cleaning the way you do! lol I am going to try to clean my front door with a similar product as you used .. I have a beautiful door and never thought about needing to treat the wood to preserve the integrity of the finish. My next goal would be to clean the baseboards -- but, don't know if I could get this done.... what would you recommend I use. They are pretty awful and the wood is white as yours is... I requested a quote for cleaning and with a 10%discount it was going to be in excess of $400 for a 3 bed / 2 bath home. Not realistic in this situation...does this sound like a fair quote?

    • @HeathersHaven435
      @HeathersHaven435  3 месяца назад

      For our area, 400 does sound like a normal quote, unfortunately. I have heard the Baseboard Buddy works well. You can use it dry and wet! I actually want to try to myself!!
