- A quick update of some of the modifications and upgrades that I have done to my 2008 Saturn Vue XR.
I apoligise for the poor footage in advance, I'm not quite sure what was going on with my camera.

O my word, I like your upgrades, I have a blue Vue also, would you put out a tutorial on how you blacked your chrome. I need to replace my headlights too
I want one w/OUT the sunroof.
This car looks identical to the Vauxhall Antara
thats cause its a rebadge for the na market
What LEDs did you use for the interior? Been looking for some good 6500k ones for my Captiva that would fit.
Any 194 bulb will work, but I have Jdm Astars in mine

Xhevit Xhindoli there is a little adapter box that they sell and it telks you exactly what wires to connect it to on the wiring harness

I'd say go for it, I really enjoyed this car. Never had any real issues with it either. They're fun to drive, especially the 3.6

I used Sylvania ZEVO LEDs all the way around, headlights were HIDs

For the rear emblem then u remove it or just paint it while it was still on?

Where’d u get the radio
Did you need load resistors for the Zevo leds?
Yes, you will need load resistors for them unfortunately
link to LED blinkers and side markers? Did you add resistor for blinkers?
iggi I got the rear leds all from Advanced Auto (Sylvania Zevo bulbs) and the front blinker is a switchback from JDMAstar which can be found on Amazon. The sidemarkers are all 194 leds

I sold it to buy a Lincoln MKZ, however I loved this car and really did enjoy it. They're very fun to drive

My girlfriend has one of these cars - the transmission is shifting rough with clunk noise.
She just now got it back from car repair shop - they said it needs transmission replaced. Was wondering if anybody else have same problems.
I have heard of them having issues with 3rd, 5th, and reverse. 35R waveplate fractures in them, because apparently they weren't heat treated properly. Unfortunately the extended warranty is now expired on all of them.

Id personally recommend the Vue over the Hyundai... Hyundai is just a rebranded Kia, and the Kia Sportage was never really known for being a good car.

Nope
No it was pretty easy. There is a couple youtube videos on it

Larry French, Jr. Just rolled 83k on mine the other day, and I've had 0 issues with it so far. Yes, I'd buy it again. They're great vehicles
Have an 09 with 160k on it runs like a champ only problem was needed a new battery but that’s just normal maintenance

Brian French I personally think that the 08 is more fun to drive because of how much more solid and planted it feels on the road, however the 06 is slightly quicker.

Different door chime. Odd.
After I replaced the radio and used the little box to keep the chimes and turn signal sound, it changed to this. The factory door chime and turn signal sounds come out of the door speakers

I had 0 issues with mine... maintenance goes a long way in how a car runs
