I bought this tool a week ago and I have very, very fine hair. I barely lost any hair using it so I found it gentle. I was using another heated roundbrush and as much as i liked it pulled my hair and didn’t control the frizz as much. Didn’t like the price tag of the GHD but I felt it was worth it. I live in a hot and humid country btw.
GHD definitely focused on making this hair tool very gentle. I noticed there were only like 2 or 3 hairs on the hair tool after using it, surprisingly one of the best hair tools at not pulling my hair. I'm glad to know you felt that it was gentle even on fine hair!
Julissa even though it's a brush but would love to have a wear test in humidity and if it would be compared to dyson air strain. Like the ease n time used in both tools n their effectiveness
This is definitely the best blowout I've ever seen you do. It looks like you used a flat iron and curling wand after.

I’ve been blow drying my hair for 20 years! I’ve never seen ANYTHING like the GHD Blow dry! It is insane what this thing do to my hair. I was so shocked when o tried for the first time that I thought I was having a dream haha ! The best hair tool in the market for blow dry. I’ve used Dyson air wrap before and have it away as it didn’t work for me. GHD thanks for saving my hair haha ♥️🙏🏽
So happy you done a review of this, my hair type is similar to yours and I’ve been contemplating getting this. It doesn’t seem to give that flyaway frizz like the airwrap does.
You're going to love it, it's very good at giving me that blowout look. I'm even able to get to my roots and it really does straighten and blowout your hair at the same time!
I like the angle on the brush. I think the angle helps the brush get closer to your scalp. I had been saving for the shark, but I am definitely going to look into this. It's very impressive how great your hair looks, especially considering that it doesn't get very hot.

yesss. my hair always looks good at first but gets extremely frizzy once I leave the house. it happens with the Dyson airwrap. I would like to see a wear test comparison of the airwrap and the ghd, please. i have very similar hair to yours and I LOVE YOUR REVIEWS. they are always a true indicator.

Your hair looks great! And the fact that the brush didn't pull your hair...a plus! Could you do a comparison with the Shark Flex Styler? That's what I have and when I do a blowout, the brush is rough on my hair. Since I am tender headed (lol), I will buy the GHD but on Black Friday tho 🤪

That has a really economic price and seems to do the “same” job as the GHD duet blow dryer.
I would actually love to see a video that compares the other warm-brushes while GHD is really pricey 😬
My first thought was that $400 seems high for a tool that only does one thing. Seeing your results -- especially next to your recent side-by-sides with the T3 -- it really does that thing, though! And it really did look fantastic after you did the pass on dry hair, so I guess that's really taking the place of two tools anyway.
I wish it had lower heat settings, I'd be nervous to put that much heat on wet hair.

I really like the shape of this brush. It can get to my roots am sure . The fact it can be used on wet hair is a bonus. I want to ask what are bristles like .. are they like regular burshes like revlon or are they like their heated ghd glide bush with a hit plate bristles ? Any info will be helpful.
The bristles are heated ceramic bristles. It's more sturdy and heats up while you do your hair to give you that smooth finish. The ghd glide brush has very thick bristles it's smoother than that. The bristles don't move either.
You have to add thé Time when you put your pins to separate your haïr, that counts too
That shine. I’m always confused if the shine comes from the products or the tool(s). Probably a combo of both. Obviously having naturally shine-prone hair helps. I have to work at it 😊
Definitely a combo of both! But it takes time and you will get there!

Interesting! I tried the GHD Duet style but sent it back and bought the Dyson Airstrait instead, it’s much better when I want my hair straight. But this GHD duet blowdry might be my holy grail as I do think my thick coarse hair looks better with some waves. I am buying it to test it. But I’m concerned about the heat, the Aitstrait is just 140 degrees Celsius in wet to dry mode, isn’t there a lower temperature option at the GHD duet blowdry?
The GHD duet comes with one heat setting but apparently it is designed to not damage your hair from high heat... The Dyson Airstrait is very nice for that straight look. I found that the GHD does give me better results when I want to add some flare in my hair. Thanks for watching sophia :)

I think I can throw away all other hair tools like ordinary hair dryer, curling iron, blowdry brush and everything. Unfortunately for me I don’t see myself using the Dyson airstrait anymore because the results with GHD is so much better and my hair looks more shiny and healthy than after using the Dyson. I have never been able to get this no-frizzy light curly look directly from wet to dry so fast. I love it! 😍

This is a little smoother than the T3 aire brush but the T3 aire brush gives me a nice blow out look with the coanda effect!
I have a dry bar blow dry brush the handle is very thick and it tires my wrists, what are your thoughts on the handle on this one? Is it pretty thick?
It is pretty thick and heavy 😩 I didn’t get tired using it but I can see how it could be a little heavy for some people after a while 💕
