I learned a few Good tricks from watching Chad that came in handy when I restored a couple of things. I've been buying metal fabrication equipment also so I can have some fun in my garage
Bad Chad is great! Fantastic eye snd imagination. He is constantly invited to auto shows worldwide and paid well for going. He had won many show awards for his work. He just finished up a 50 Ford Custom paint, gorgeous car. Currently getting the chrome on and an interior is upcoming. Two others are in process right behind it.. He also has two talented men working for him, to cover mechanical and engines. I watch him daily.
Most of his build don't run or drive. He rarely puts an interior or does any mechanical work. The body is typically random metal slapped together in a decent form smoothed over with 1/2" of Fiberglass. Complete hackjob.
His shows on cable networks made him famous. But without the whole team of those networks behind him, other than using a 'Zip cut' and 'square stock' , terrible welding and cover it all up with hundreds of dollars on Bondo , he can't finish them . And better not paint them as a glossy paint would show how terrible his work is. Some of his designs seems to dangerous to drive in, like his 'bugetti' or that oil tanker . No one would survive even a slow speed crash in them. But its all about ideas,some tricks and generating lot of RUclips views and that is what counts for them.

Where I come from that kind of shady business can get a guy a trip to the hospital or worse. Age has nothing do with it, old people can be con artist too. Besides he's only 8 years older than Chad big deal. Just because someone is old doesn't mean they're good! 😉✌
That was almost as good as the old Robin Leach Hit Show ... "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' LOL !! Even has the British accent !! I have been a fan of BadChad and Jolene the Queen for years !! I saw the Bugatti at he Museum in LA !! The Chadgatti is Awesome !!
Truth is outside of the cars prebuilt on the cable show with a team Sad Chad hasnt completed or sold a build since opportunist Teen Jolene arrived on the scene.
Anyone can find a clown car anywhere these are not works of art they are butchered cars of some one else's and all he does is chop chop chop and throw parts on them that doesn't match the era.

He takes a car and wreaks the lines of it, instead of enhancing them. Maybe if you were creating a car for a movie where the car is SUPPOSED to be bad, well then maybe Chad's your man.

The Bugatti will never get finished because that's way too much of a commitment .All the time it's not finished means you have to cut him some slack as it's not finished .
One talented dude, he reminds me of Frankensteins garage of the 50s hot rod era, very creative fabricators, like Roth, Van Dutch, Barris all those legends, Gene Winfield still pounding away, at 96....

If Bad Chad custom builds were sawt after then why hasn't Discovery put him back on the air ? Bad Chad, Likes to take vintage works of art and hack them up, that is all he does. on his youtube channel he cut up about ten cars and didn't finish them. In his perspective video he talked about the cars he did finish the problem is those are the cars he built for the show. and why does he have them ? it's because they are impractical and the perspective owners didn't want them. The black and white dump truck is cool so is the greenish panel van. I'll give him that much.
Because it's insane to build a ground up custom car on a 35 day deadline. Go ahead and try it sometime. I like to see what you could build in 35 days. 😉✌
@@michaelbristol6467 were they finished, not really, they are rough, poorly engineered, they still have their original chassis, engine, steering, most of the bodies and some unpainted, so again, did he and his team really finish them, I personally like the man, he has a very good heart, would I have him build me a car, no way.
He's an artist with the sheetmetal, but absolutely clueless with anything mechanical. Since the Discovery show ended I don't think he's produced a single running, driving, street legal car.
I dont remember him finishing a car to driving it down the road legally for the past 4 years, lets get this straight, he only modifies the body work, doesnt do any mechanical or interior, rarely he has painted a car, so he should be able to pump out a car in 30 days, Ild hate to sit and watch him do a ground up build, oh yeah, Ive been watching him build the Bugatti for the past 4 years and thats still a long way off being finished.
@@jamesmatheson5115 Yes, it is discouraging to see them switch between cars and never seeing any of the drive down the road. They should partner with someone who can do the mechanical work and then sell some of cars upon completion.
@@danoc51 I think he has a guy now doing mechanical work thats what they say anyway, but I wouldnt buy any of them, they are just poorly put together and I personally dont like his work, I think its 2nd class work that he puts out.
Well "art" is in the eye of the beholder... but agreed - he appears to be clueless mechanically. From what I've seen I don't think any of his cars would pass an MOT certification... body mounts or no body mounts. ;)

I had no idea they had a show... just saw the youtube channel and appreciated the metal forming.

He brought back the generator anyways. I would of kept it myself that guy needs to be taught a lesson. Who knows how many people he's ripped off.
