  • Violet Gaitan Booker joins host Elise Capron, with guest co-host Velo Kristina, for an incredible discussion around her time working for the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Violet (known as Violet Gaitan Silva at the time) was a key staff member at Michael Jackson’s Neverland Valley Ranch from 1991-2005. Violet started at the Ranch as a security officer, eventually becoming Chief of Fire and Security, and finally oversaw Safety and Human Resources for twelve different departments, from Fire/Security, to Grounds-keeping, House-keeping, the Amusement Park, Zoo, and much more. Violet also gave testimony in the 2005 trial, in which Michael Jackson was found not guilty of all abuse allegations, and, after she left Neverland, she went to work as an investigator for Robert Sanger, defense attorney for Michael Jackson alongside Tom Mesereau.
    In this discussion, the ladies discuss Violet’s amazing stories of working for Jackson for fourteen years, including how she began working at Neverland, what is was like working at the ranch on a day-to-day basis, the logistics of hosting large groups and VIP guests, interactions with staff, her memories of Michael Jackson as a boss and insights about him as a father and individual, and much more. They also talk about the time period around the allegations, clarify some statements made during the trial, and discuss in detail her unique feelings about this special place where she spent so much time.
    This episode was edited by Jamon Bull and Charlie Carter. It was saved by John Cameron.

    Thank you three, for sharing your beautiful & funny stories and knowledge of Michael showing his humanity. A few of your
    stories had me tearing up especially since I know Michael's purity of heart. A special thanks to Violet, whose job was to
    protect and keep him safe while at home at Neverland. A friend shared with me that Michael is so sweet to smile down at us
    when we play and dance to his music. Your stories do the same for me~ though he's gone, Michael still lives in our hearts!
    ~~~Rest In Peace, MJ~~~
    Violet I feel you! And yes I think if not the people who still insist want to damage him, MJ fans won't have to put effort to defend him . Such emotional roller coaster episode.. love it ❤️❤️
    The authorities went overboard with the raids. They had 80 policemen in one bedroom. That's really overdoing it like Michael said. I always have respect for people who defend Michael.
    For Violet- The music for the whole of Neverland was chosen by Michael and installed by one of his musical engineers,
    Brad Sundberg (if I remember correctly). Much of the decor of Mike's home was the result of what he missed out as a
    young boy. The lights that Mike placed in the trees of Neverland was due to the religious beliefs of the Jacksons which
    prohibited Christmas lights & decor when they grew up in Gary, Indiana. The bumper cars attraction was probably the
    result of the young Jackson boys building racings cars from pieces of wood they found around the neighborhood AND
    used shopping carts which were left in the streets near home for racing. God bless you three and Prince, Paris & Bigi.
    ~~~RIP, Michael~~~

    This is fascinating. I love hearing these stories and imagining what life was like for Michael. Imagine having your own fire department on your property!!
    WOW 🚒 👀
    And, he had some real security threats.
    Unbelievable the amount of money that it took just to live his life. He was an amazing person. He wanted to share everything he had. I can't believe what some people think about him. He blessed everyone.
