This is the best story narration that I have ever heard in my life. I'm a 45 year old lady.
And then he started living with Amy and realised that she wasn't at all who he thought she was and their relationship didn't work out. He spent the rest of his life regretting his decision and longing for his dead wife and son. And cursing his horny 18 yo self who confused lust with love.
The end.

I think he definitely got the better ending by taking the deal. He even learned the true identity of the killer.
problem is, people aren't the same. we don't even know if amy stays with him. chelsea and amy were close. maybe chelsea's death drives this new couple apart.

What an interesting proposition, to go back, make that one change. But to what end? What will it do? Would you really be happy? Though we all have regrets perhaps it is best to live with the hand dealt. You have no idea what will happen because of recent changes and long ago.... What joy of today would you erase? I can't say I am happy with my life today but as my sweet puppies sprawl on my bed snoring I know I would not want to mess up having them in my life

I'm all for "re-purposing"/borrowing the phrase "Black Friday" in the name of horror - both in written and audio formats.
As for the story - I love the notion of changing the past only to learn more about the past than you wanted to know - and having to live with it. This called for a second listen..
Is it odd I'm most disturbed by the abandonment (murder?) Of his son? It's Not been a good day, Doc, but you made it better.
Was the son murdered? That really depends on how time travel works in the setting of this story.
It is an interesting debate. He caused his son to cease to exist. If it's murder, then so is abortion. a very sticky subject. However if you believe souls exist before they are born, he would have simply been put in another family, possibly the narrator's own with Amy as his mother. Or maybe in China, who knows. He couldn't know.
I do see what your saying in the realm of multiverses, his son goes on with Chelsea and a dad who vanished. In which case you have simple abandonment. And one parent sadly often abandons their children for passion all the time.
+Mother Raven Multiverse theory even has many potential outcomes. The whole thing is really complicated.

That was a nice for want of a nail type of story about a man who felt out of love with his wife and suffered a dreadful tragedy . Our main character has to deal with what He has done twice and not to mention finding out about his brother's secret .

You didnt miss a thing, the simple fact that universitys have tricked ppl into thinking you need to pay half a million dollars to learn to be creative is ludicrous. furthermore a Degree in art will not get you employed anywhere. Id say find an infuencial artist and study under them.
I really wasn't going to do it for a career, I love to write though, the going to art school was to enhance my imagination to give me a boost😁

my black friday is online still get great sale .dont ha've to deal with crazy ppl at the stores .nope nope they are nuts jumping at u screaming , fighting and someone always die or get hurt.
If I had any money, I would get my car's brakes fixed because my car has almost no brakes. I can barely get to work. I almost hit a huge deer on 169 on my way home. My car won't last and I'm dead broke. Well, at least my life insurance is paid. It's a matter of time before I find peace.

Brenda Whitehead I think the real murderer framed Troy and killed the girls in the homeless man's usual resting spot(he was homeless) bcuz dna would be easily found around there. he could even maybe been forced and ran away scared when he got the chance to escape(explaining the part of Troy being seen running from the scene)

So in timeline 1 Noah, the brother killed Amy, dumped her body downtown and put the blame on an innocent homeless man. In timeline 2 Noah killed Chelsea and pined the blame on the same homeless man, only this time he was discovered. So what do you think happens next?
