Great step by step guide with all the info for torque specs and bolt size and you make it look easy but after installing should you have to get a alignment you did change the tie rod end wouldn't it possibly change the toe in and with un bolting the struts the camber may be off? Or is that adjusted another way
@TRQ man you guys are awesome ! I bought the 2 wheel hubs from you guys , came in 1 day , and you guys reply on RUclips ! This is why I recommend you guys to everyone I know .
The top guide pin is metal. The lock pin (lower) has a plastic ubber anti-rattle tip. The lock pin is a few thousands smaller than the solid metal guide pin. Lock pins go on the lower or front most hole toward front of vehicle. Imagine car is rolling forward and hits the brakes, the force of the calipers go downward and forward. We want this lock pin to be on the lower forward spot of the down force. This lock pin rubber sleeve comes in a boot kit and should be replaced because it may swell with age or wrong grease and cause pads to stick\wear.

This is not the video you want to follow. There's no need to take off the tie rod end or the knuckle.
Precise and to the point… excellent video… thanks
I found taking the knucke off to be helpful i couldnt reach the hub bolts with my impact wrench
I don’t like leaving just the lower ball joint connected. Great way damage it. Not required to remove strut bolts to do this job.
Is this like a 1A Auto spinoff channel/brand? Dude, I recognize your voice anywhere haha, great work as always though!
It’s TRQ it’s the brand of the parts which 1AAUTO sells

Do you need to do a alignment after doing this ?
+ThatVegas HighriseDude No alignment is needed if you are just replacing the wheel hub assembly.
