I'm into my third season on Marrin Headlands 1. Put a Redshift sport suspension stem on it. Also changed the 40 chainring to a 38, then a 36. I'm quite pleased with the bike for the price. Fun to ride greenways gravel also a bit of trail.
@@franzfenzl5909 Yup, we're huge fans of the DSX... it is funny, even us shop people find ourselves wondering about switching drop bar bikes to flat bars... something so unlogical but so appealing about it.
That unbranded, I'm guessing square bottom bracket, is so ugly for such an expensive bike. I'd rather just pay an extra hundred or two at the time of purchase and get a SRAM Dub/Rival crank than having to pay hundreds to replace it later.
The crank is unbranded but is not a square taper. It has an external bb, is a two piece design reminiscent of a Shimano Hollowtech II crank/bb. This same crankset is available from other bike brands on higher priced models.
I’ve had this bike for two years ,no complaints at all
Thank you for posting again! Your videos are always super appreciated
Thanks Alex... now that we will start receiving more new models on a regular basis I'll be able to get more videos out.

Thanks. I was hoping to find information about this bike!
Love this intro so detailed 👍 I am thinking if it is possible to use a 42T chainring for this model 🤔
good looking bike!
You said this bike can reach up to 50 km/h, but how and at what gear? because when I drive tested this bike I can't seem to get more 30+ km/h
In the highest gear at about 100rpm which is when my legs spin out.
Would your shop do a flatbar conversion for this bike?
Always happy to customize a bike to make a customer's bike suit them.
As a Marin dealer myself, i would really recommend you to look at the Marin DSX Line. Extreme good value for your money :)

@@BikeBrosBikeShop Oh ok, that's good to know! Not the first time I've been wrong. Thanks for the reply.
