I was in a successful band back in 08 and I can tell you interviewers ask some of the dumbest, pointless and even offensive questions. 'wHaT DOes yoUr BanD NaME meAn?' 'Why did you move around on stage more for tonight's show than last week's?' 'Who was that girl you were just talking to? Was that your girlfriend?' Just stupid fucking questions, one after another. It's funny because kids tended to ask better questions because they weren't trying to be clever, it was just shit they really wanted to know: 'What pedal did you use on the third song, that was rad!' and then we'd talk about pedals or amps or whatever. Might not make for the best interview, but asking us about what we do is way more interesting than stupid fucking personal questions - or worse yet, amateur-psychologist observations like this one.
