Fascinating how limited tools can do this job. I have a full shop with ample Snap On tools and a full array of equipment and would be challenged to take this on. Truly a genuine mechanic with talents and a pallet to work on. Hats off to you my friend. -from Wisconsin USA

so happy to read Your comments and great to have no 1 tools that I’ve ever use too.. realy great to see this video.. the way he smoothening the in and exhaust valce the way he clean the engine surface, there’s no vapor blast sand blast etc, just fuel and some grinding and sanding machine.. I had the same bike but mine had chrome fenders. Loved it ! I picked it up in Saigon in 2012 for like 4 million dong. Me and my brother in law restored it together.

Never ever saw a Honda SS50 engine like that, I suspect it is a Chinese 110-125CC engine with a Honda crankcase cover fitted.

I am simply speculating based on my knowledge gained from having rebuilt both types of engines. 4-strokes are inherently more complicated than 2- strokes but 4-strokes tend to have better fuel consumption due to not wasting fuel through the exhaust port and the engines generally last longer between rebuild/rebores. Everything has its optimum range of application.
