Shōbōgenzō Soshi Sairai No I 祖師西來意 'The Ancestral Master’s Intention in Coming from the West' by Eihei Dōgen (1200-1253). The translation is by my Zen ‘grandfather’ Gudō Nishijima Roshi (1919-2014) and his student, Mike Chodo Cross.
