Gosh I miss Japan so much, I definitely think that this HHN is a different vibe than the ones in the US, USJ’s one is such a vibe and I assume because of stricter rules the actors can’t be as aggressive as they are here, probably a much more fun experience than actually scary

I am not sure if I am in for the cutesy hami kuma and chainsaw man as halloween addition to HHN in USJ. In 2018 it was much scarier, chucky, sadako, vampires and zombies. I want something scary but with like asian twist. universal studio singapore is doing it much better this time, they have 4 haunted houses, but it is paid and USJ is free, so still a win for USJ I guess
Ok so I went to HHN for the first time last year (first time I went to a Halloween event like it), and I had lots of spooky fun. This looks pretty cool as well, but I noticed that the mazes don't seem to be as loud. I also like how it seems to be a bit more nerdy with stuff inspired by anime and video games instead of mostly movies. Seems like my kind of event.

The tiramisu mummy churro was so good! I'm so jealous that you actually got to go eat the Biohazard/Resident Evil food at Finnegan's though... that lemon ginger ale sounded amazing in the heat. The Biohazard/Resident Evil show was fun and looked super cool, but I got soaked with their water gel stuff!
I'll have to try the churro whenever I get back (I was eating so much food in a day so I didn't get to everything). The Resident Evil meal was good and hearty!
To my knowledge HHN has always been included with your ticket here, even when they had a lot more houses before 2020. My first time in 2017 they had more houses and it was all included.
Do you mean Express Pass? Unless you plan on going during a busy time and absolutely must do something that's on that HHN Express Pass, then sure. But otherwise, you should be fine. Just prioritize what you want to accomplish.
Seems like, even in the scare zones, there are plenty of places to walk that keep you away from the scare actors. I was wondering cause I'm going with my 6 year old on Halloween and I know she is going to convince herself she wants to walk through the zones 😅
