I'm a 70 year old woman with a husband who can't get out of his La-Z-Boy, but I love to tinker and have a very enviable toolbox. Fixed my toothbrush tonight THANKS TO YOU!! I'm wondering if the lack of thread locker is possibly done just a little bit on purpose?!?! BUT I don't care anymore because, thanks to you, I can fix it anyway. You guys who take the time to put these videos together are absolutely the greatest things since sliced bread. Many thanks again.
That’s incredibly sweet to hear. Very thankful that I could help. I found if you really wanna make it in this world you can’t rely on other people. Even the ones close to you. I tried to encourage everyone to do things for themselves. It doesn’t have to be something complicated if it’s already broke what difference does it make? It’s not gonna hurt to try to fix it yourself.
Bro. You're a hero. This is my third sonicare. Same fault on each one. I can literally hear this screw rattling around in the body. Fixing this bitch tomorrow!
I’ve had so many of these that did it and sent them back. What a waste of money. A tiny drop of thread locker, and they could save so much in warranty. Glad to help out.
z filmu tylko udało mi się zobaczyć jak to otworzyć. Reszta nie zrozumiała, nic nie widać, jakie zaczepy i gdzie. Jak już raz rozbiorę to mi nie będzie potrzebny manual
So I needed to change the gasket at the top and the repair went fine, but when I went to put the body of the brush back into the housing, there was a flat copper strip, almost like a flat circuit wire - I didn't notice this when I took it out, wondering if it somehow came loose? Not sure if I just leave it alone and slide the body back in till it snaps or if it needs to be reconnected somehow? on/off button not working. so I put it back on the charger. Any ideas?

@@SVWildHare Done. Fixed. Took all of five minutes. The epitome of designed obsolescence.
I applaud your work.
Wanted to say thank you! I’m back in business and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to disassemble itself anymore.
This video saved me 100€, thanks! In my case there was a tiny piece of loose solder stuck around the power button that randomly turned it off.
As good of a product as this is, it just amazes me that they don’t do better quality control. Glad I was able to help.

Hi , the easiest way to strip the unit is with an airline and blow the internals out putting the airline over the steel tip !
Its such a big design flaw from philips, there's not even water protection for all those chips inside.

Not right off. I’ll take one apart and let ya know.
Just fixed mine only bought a couple months ago, it seems they have used some kind of Loctite on it but still didn't work.
I don’t understand why they continue to build a faulty product.
They make sure their service centers have something to work on. Easy fix for them, money earned, business runs.
