Playing with Bolivian Squirrel monkeys in Ishigaki Okinawa

Bolivian Squirrel monkeys are an attraction at Ishigaki Yaima Village.
I haven’t found any information about why the cute monkeys live here. The habit is very large and a keeper is always in their habitat to keep a watchful eye on visitors.
Did you know that since these Bolivian Squirrel monkeys are from the "New World," they can grasp with their tail, and Old World monkeys (from Africa and Asia) cannot use their tail for grasping?
