I am on a Manisha Koirala "interview marathon" after watching her 1998 interview on "Rendezvous with Simi Garewal." Manisha is a very well-spoken and very articulate lady. I remember seeing her on a Nepali TV ad in early 1990s where she dances/prances while descending a hill. Regarding this interview, I am wondering who the audience is. I was hoping that it'd be about her movie career and her post-cancer life, but more than half of the interview is just about the diagnosis and treatment. While I am very happy that she's doing well, and hope she continues to do so, to be honest, only a very few Nepali women can afford medical treatment in the US, let alone with the top cancer doctor at Sloan Kettering.
