My husband Tim and I live on the Central Coast of California and all the wild flowers are abundant along the beach headlands making it extra pretty ! As to your reply on the Sun Princess, you now have sold me on that ship and we plan on taking it for one of our birthdays. Tim enjoys the pool and hot tub areas for relaxing/reading/people watching and I am known by all my friends as Mermaid Marcia, so I'll be in the pool and hot tub. I especially think the pool by that dome looks extra cool as it's indoors-outdoors ! And having bars adjacent to all the pools - we're talking right up our alley 🙂 As you were initially touring the ship with a margarita in hand, I thought to myself "Now that's my kind of girlie girl friend !" You've definitely no privacy at all from anyone else on the cabana deck walking past but it's an improvement on the P&O Deck 8 conservatory cabin variant we guess.
Hi Tony. Sorry for the late reply and we think we might have already replied to this on another comment. But sea days are $99 per person and $79 on port days. They hadn't released or made available the cabanas and pricing for them when we were on.

They did Deborah. Modern ships (think of Edge class in particular) have gone for that modern Kelly Hoppen approach which while stylish can be a bit lacking. Through a splash of colour in and it makes all the difference.

You guys are both so cute I enjoyed this video so much. My husband and I would love cruising with you all, do you like Triva? Heard Spell Bound is a must. Sabatins on the Enchanted is open and very loud. This Sabatinis is much nicer then Enchanted. The Piazza reminds of the Carnival Celebration wasn’t a fan. Everytime we cruise is take picture of the round life saver with the name of the ship.

@@SuiteNatured yes our favorite the 80’s and Sci Fy my hubby served 24 yrs in the Army as a CWO4 I retired from the hospital but not old. lol we have cruise scheduled this July from Boston to Bermuda then Maine 7 day, on the NCL Gem this will be our first on NCL, however we love love Bermuda fav place, we like to rent small electric cars. Also, next Feb going on a 9 day on Celebrity Eclispe to Bonaire, Aruba stay over night then Grand Cayman. Our fav line used to be Princess. However, this last Christmas we sailed on the Enchanted 10 days and was not enjoyable, the lay out was very open, food not as good. We love the Regal just thought food in MDR recipes were too complex not simple, bc I have lots of food allergies. We just returned this last Feb 7 day on Carnival Celebration too many people won’t do that cruise again. I love the energy and fun and excitement you both have in your videos.
Looks lovely, but I think I agree with you on the speciality dining I like a more self contained venue. I always think of the MDR or buffet like eating at home and then speciality as going out for the night to a restaurant. I think that's the biggest draw for me to Virgin Voyages every meal is like a night out at a restaurant.

You get them included at no extra charge if you book Princess Premier, and you can order them on the app before you board, and you get them posted (if you are in US or Canada) or they are handed to you when you check in. They are reusable and we loved them, it was the first time we had tried one and it was so much easier than a lanyard.
My first impression ... this ship is a complete change of style & focus for Princess. On first view, the atrium is a let down ... where are the gold trimmed staircases, the glass walled elevators, the elegant architectural details ... ? They seem to be moving more in the NCL direction here. As for the cabana suites ... major unforced error ... too exposed, no privacy.
You are absolutely right Phillip, it is a massive change of style and focus for Princess. It is very similar to the move Celebrity made with the edge class. When they came out a lot of people who had sailed on Celebrity before found the change too much, but over time, most have come round, and the new Celebrity audience love them (generally), we suspect it will be the same for Princess too. The atrium/piazza, is a huge change, but honestly, once you get used to it, we preferred it, and it is a good venue for certain types of entertainment, more so than the traditional ones on other Princess ships. We are with you on the Cabana suites. Whilst it is absolutely better than P&O's version, as well as the Havana Cabanas on Carnival, we don't feel the are really for us, we like that private balcony looking out to sea. However we do know many people that have been on P&O's conservatory cabins and love them. We do appreciate Princess did a take on this that was better than P&O's and made it a more "private" area, but still not for us we suspect.
How would you know? They only showed a small part of it. Look at the plan of deck 9. The Eatery stations are on both sides of the ship plus the two aft restaurants (acting as specialty restaurants for dinners only).
Yes, I've seen the entire eatery and it is badly designed (you do know this isn't the only Sun Princess video on RUclips right you fool?) During busy times, you're going to have a hard time wading through the crowds of people. @@michaels3003

Would you prefer a different colour Darren? They seem to have gone with the path of most modern ships, but there was surprisingly large amount of colour throughout the ship.
