- A couple years ago I bought these cheap 12v Diesel heaters to put in our Little tiny home (School bus). And I will be honest, I am quite happy with them! They pull very low power and diesel is a dry heat so there is no moisture build-up. Totally worth the $120
Heres the link to the heater! amzn.to/3TFY0wa

Just discovered your channel and subbed. Although I still live on wheels, my many bus conversions are behind me. Keep living the dream my friend. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the update. It's nice to see you guys are alive and kickin'
Thanks! We are. It's a journey but it'll be a good story
Thanks for the videos, we are currently building a skoolie from a 2005 international FE300 like you have and I have a problem with the headlights. I have looked all over the internet for a wiring diagram and I still haven’t found one. Do you have a wiring diagram for your bus that I could a have copy of? Thank you
Does it produce any chemical into the bus, fume wise, health risk, I’ll be living in the bus
I need some help with my short bus build would you be available for consulting on solar and electrical and some plumbing?
Certainly. I'd love to! Send me an email. calebslife@gmail.com
Few issue with the big rig you are building:
1.) Why would you use PVC pipe on a potable water tank?
2.) Roof top decks make insurance extremely difficult, if not impossible in many areas of the country. The more people using wood stoves and roof top decks on their rigs, the more insurance companies are going to run away from us....
3.) Wool insulation *needs* a vapor barrier. Wool insulation advertising is heavily flawed. Even though its water wicking, that doesn't mean vapor won't penetrate. It will get through and cause mold. I had to redo my entire ceiling because of a very quickly developing mold problem due to no vapor barrier over my wool. (I fell for the hype)
1. Why would you NOT use PVC pipe for potable water? 2. Insurance for bus conversions has been difficult for decades. There is no more running away...most insurance companies split long ago. 3. Condensation in a bus is inevitable yet it can be nearly squelched by keeping the humidity under 35%. with your heating choices and/or a dehumidifier. This is vital regardless of your vapor barrier preference. Question: Have you nothing supportive to contribute?
