    Thank you so much, works great, we get snow, rain before Christmas. Every year, I'm so frustrated. It works on bushes too, where there are multiple connections, I just didn't use sticks, two clothes pins.

      Not if it snows where you live...in the fall with no snow ok it won't look ok but in the northern states or Canada where I live its a brilliant hack

      A little word of caution if the bottle falls over on its side it could potentially fill with water and submerge the plugs

    Cut top of bottle instead of bottom.
