I truly love the books that you were able to find. And books were my last haul also. A friend of mine sent me so cardstock and stickers and some wax creamy yummy paste. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Have a fabulous weekend. Sherry
Hello from Ohio in the US! Have watched you for years and missed you when you took some time off. You were really the person who got me interested in art journaling back in the day. Thanks for all the inspiration over the years and welcome back! I loved your message today as I'm in a similar place and challenging myself to use the supplies I already have.
Hi Jennibellie! My name is Deb and I'm from Michigan, USA. I used to watch your videos years ago and your one of my inspirations for beginning art journaling. I'm so happy your back. 😃
Thanks Jennibellie. I was stuck traveling with the outage that affected the airports. 3 days with no luggage or clean clothes, medicines etc. finally made it home and after the first day when I met my brand new grandson, I started watching the minuteness class that I purchased when I was on my trip visiting my son who graduated from Army basic training. I started a bunch of pages yesterday while I was watching the class videos. That has finally brought me some calmness after the turmoil and physical affects of standing in lines for hours. I’m so glad I found you 2 weeks ago I think. You had just come back to RUclips after a hiatus.
Hello from Tennessee! I decided years ago I didn’t have to destroy a work of art to create my work of art. You can make photo copies of art and color it in the colors that are the ones you want. Then cut them out and paste them in. You have your ephemera and the book is safe. Nice haul, I enjoyed watching very much. Oh, you might be glad to know, RUclips recommended your channel to me.😊
I'm in Iowa and have followed you for years, so glad you are back on RUclips. I agree with your message about not needing all the supplies, but it is hard to resist the haul videos, for sure. Discernment is the key!
Hello from Finland! Watching this type of haul is always so much more interesting because, you already have an idea of how you're going to use the supplies in your own art. The range of supplies in general stores are very limited where I live, and specialty art supply shops take more time and effort to reach (and even they have a pretty limited selection), so it's actually very helpful to be introduced to new and unfamiliar art supplies like this. The shiny gold stuff, which turned blue, looks like something I'd love to play with! :3
Hiya Jennie. I am from Lancashire. I enjoyed how much you enjoyed all the shimmery art supplies. I too love glitter and shimmer. The gold paint that came out blue is just gorgeous.. hugs Fran xx
You shared a really important message! Having too much (Guilty!) is too overwhelming and makes it difficult to create. Have been watching and enjoying your videos for a really long time! Love seeing your vintage books, etc! ❤ from Arizona
Hi Jennibelle, I'm over a decade subscribed to your channel. I'm from California, USA. We have done a swap before. I love all the goodies you got in the 1st part of your video. Now, to watch the rest of it. Hugs to you.❤❤❤
Hi Jennibellie! I'm in Illinois, USA. Grandma aged. I began watching in about 2013. 🎨🎨🎨🎨🎨🧡💚💛💜❤💙You got me into all of this back then! I was in your group as well. At some point I stepped away from Art in order to create a home office and teach English, online, to children in China. I LOVED that job but it ended 3 years later and I missed everything I'd cleaned out... even all my painted papers! Anyway, I came back to art in just shortly before you had to spend your energy on other things and I've rediscovered you again this summer! I will watch anything/everything you put up and I'll share whenever I have the opportunity!! Love you so much!!!🍇🍉🍊🍇🍍🍎🍐🍒🫐🥝🍓 and 🧡💜💛💙❤💜
I love the idea of using that big one for an art journal. I think it would make a fabulous one, with a lot of the page still showing that wonderful old art.
Hi Jennibelle, I'm from near Aberystwyth mid Wales. I'm making snippet rolls while watching this video. I love how you get so excited about things you ordered and what you find. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one like this 💕
been watching since 2015 or 2016 from houston...you were the 1st craft person ii ever watched, and... what you don't know is...how much you helped me in diy pt recovery after a challenging injury...so...TY!!!!!
Hello from Australia. I think I fit right in to the category 'Overwhelmed by having too many supplies' ... but new supples are so fun 😂 I've been enjoying your videos and taking your classes for many years and I'm so happy to see you back on RUclips ❤
Hi Jenni, I do what your doing every year & always fail miserably, I hope you have more resolve than me! I have been watching you from the early days. I'm 66 & like you love anything art, I just need it around me, even if it's just painting colours on a bit of card & cutting it out. Today I painted two pieces of watercolour card on both sides & then punch heart shapes out! I have to do something everyday. Love your videos. You did just make me buy some Nuvo drops, I've been wanting to try them for ages but I have so many stickles that I've put it off. I've been unwell lately & so have not done so many big projects, just things I can do sitting cross-legged on my bed! I found some lovely flowers I made from one of you videos years ago, awhile ago & used them on a card for a friends birthday. I think I need to check that video out again & make some more. I think it's something I could do on my bed! Best wishes to you, & the 50's book would make a great junk journal or altered book.So many ideas, so little time!
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome and very thoughtful video/message 🙏❤️ And Warmest welcome back Lovely Jennibellie ❤️ I have missed you ❤️ Lovely to see you are feeling fine. 🙏 About hauls I came across Temu and it was like bug buying from them. Have stopped now. I have built up crafting supplies for more than my lifetime now. Need to stop hoarding and start using/crafting more. Much Love and hugs from Sweden ❤❤ You are the very first artist I found here on youtube and I have followed and been subscribed since. I follow you on Journal workshop site, bought classes there etc.
Hi sweet Jennibellie! I’ve been a devoted follower of yours for many many years and am Loving your new videos! You speak much truth in this one, a message so many of us need to hear❣️. Good luck with the “supplies diet”. 😘
Hi I’m from Gibraltar I’ve been watching your videos for at least five years now ,you were my inspiration to start art journaling.I really loved the powder paint that changes colour and I agree with you when we buy too many supplies thankyou for being there and sharing 💕💕
I'm in Seattle Washington, USA! Love, love the supplies you purchased. I've purchased almost nothing this year, so far. I got one of the large Crop-A-Diles so I can put eyelets in the spine of the journals I make. I've been mass making (six at a time) single signature journals that I donate every month to the local cancer care center. I'm at the end of cancer treatment, cancer is gone, but I still see the oncologist once a month to check my blood and monitor the hormone medication I will be taking for the next few years to prevent the cancer from recurring, I hope that is not TMI, haha! I've always wanted some of those Nuvo drops and I love all the sparkly products you got, so I might purchase some or just put them on a Christmas/birthday list (december birthday). I used to have trouble cutting up books, but one I saw how the images make for very unique ephemera it's not so hard anymore! You found some really great books, I'm drooling over that 1950's scrapbook book! I have been creative my whole life, thanks to my mom. It's so true that one can creative without having all the art supplies! We made treasures from items we had on hand, old magazines became collages, old greeting cards became decopaged pieces to hang on the wall, old clothes or fabric swatches became textile collages, it was all soooo fun! OK, I've written more than I have ever written in a comment before, so I'll sign off now, haha!
I’m a ‘forever’ viewer here… not even sure how long ago I found your channel, but you’re the best, that’s why I stick around. You always inspire me!! (I’m from VA in the US)
Hello from Michigan. Love your videos. Thanks for returning and sharing! I SO needed to hear the "message" in today's video!! I suspect my hobby has become buying art/craft supplies instead or just being creative with what I already own!
I always enjoy your videos immensely!! I learn so much! I live in the states when I first started to do art you were my very first artist. Sooo happy you are back on you tube. I don’t have a channel yet but thinking of it. ❤
Phoenix Arizona here! Just out of the hospital, catching up on my favorite youtuber first... binging your vids while messing around in my art journal. My favorite part of this haul was when you opened the box and stuck your face in it. lol I do that too! xo
Debra from Canada dear just started a youtube channel this year , I just started making handmade journals the last year . I am an artist painted for years love being creative is just a part of me. love your first haul so yummy supplies . I hear you about supplies I have been creative for years and have limited supplies for years and never stopped me from being creative. 💖 I do love to have supplies though so when I can I do love to treat my self.
Hi Jennibellie, I have been watching a lot of videos on RUclips pertaining to junk journals, scrapbooking and bullet journalling. I come to you from Norway. I am old enough as to have done bullet journalling and doodling long before it even was a thing 😁Guilty av watching knitting/crochet videos as well. One thing that I didn't quite understand was junk journalling. You explained it very well. I think I am going to try putting together a junk journal with my old cards (I keep all of them). Need to watch more of your videos. 📚📑
Hi from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I hear you about YT. Years ago to grow my channel I started doing haul videos as these brought me more viewers. I have good content but it seems that the hauls are the most popular videos, and that is so frustrating. BTW I love that powdered paint. Thanks for all the inspiration.
I am so glad i found your channel!!!!❤ You are so funny and i love your honest reactions to the things you find. I can tell you will create amazing things with all these treasures.😊 Those books at the end were so nice! I have nothing like that where I'm from (rural Minnesota, USA) so going with you on your thrifting journey was awesome. 🥰 i need to catch up on all your videos now! Have a great day❤
Also, you might have some good advice for this. Let's say you've lost interest in a certain medium and you want to donate it somewhere that it will be used and appreciated. Are there any good places? I have donated to my local library before but they don't take old tutorial type drawing or art tip books to use in conjunction with the supplies (guessing it's a space issue?) but how cool would it be to make a supply kit to send with a book so the user can just "start!". I think that was why some of my purchases were underwhelming because by the time I got the study material I then needed to gather more stuff and the wait killed whatever vision I had. So besides an art swap group online (again, no interest in this where I live apparently 😢) where else could I go to find people that need/want art supplies?
Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your artistic journey with all of us here on YT ❤ I love your videos and I always get so inspired! 🥰 I work as an independent artist and live in the Swedish countryside 💫 🇸🇪
Hi, been watching you for years. I'm originally from London, UK but moved to Spain 36 years ago for love and I'm still here in Madrid with the same man. Holiday romances do work sometimes. Loved the video.❤
Hey Jennibellie from Cabot Arkansas USA…I’m an artist taking an art course to learn more things and crafter etc… I do a lot of crafty artistic things…I found your video by going through other videos…I love your craft room set up…I’m trying to get mine fixed up and organized but have a bit of a struggle but I keep going…I enjoy your videos
Hiya, I think we are all guilty of collecting instead of crafting. I am a bit materialistic, part magpie and over consumer but I do like to try out new art supplies. It is just fun. And therapeutic . I am trying to use up what I already have. I do love to use stuff that I have made, for mail art, gift giving and for personal use. I liked the art supplies you showed, but the 1950’s book resonated with me as is what I flip through in the care home with my Mum.
Hi n Thanku I'm an ozzie (from australia:) ur the first arty crafty utuber I watched n I am so happy 2.. Ive always been an upcycler esp when I was a wee tacker n u n ur wonderful thrifty ways have taught me so very much from reinventing old art supplys to understanding my own addictive hoardy nature Stay wonderful Our awesome Miss Jennibellie
New york. I'm a subscriber from 2012 . Enjoy your art and your excitement of colors and textures. I'm a junk journalist cause of you . Thank you for sharing. ❤
Hi Jennibellie thank you so much for your video of your haul and trying out your art supplies xx I would love to see what you do with your oil pastels in art please , I have some but don’t really use them x ❤ from Uk x
Your video theme reminded me when I was around eleven or twelve, I didn’t like the clothes my mother was buying for me, so I asked her not to buy anything for me during one year. She was addicted to shopping, especially clothes and she felt frustrated that I made such a decision, but she was sure that I would give up my minimalist approach. I didn’t, she was impatient to buy for me again, and I ended up wearing mini dresses which were so too small and too short for me that we could see my underwear! 😂 I was very obstinate as a child 🤣 By the way, I’m in L.A., but you know that, you interviewed me for your blog like… Such a long time ago! I bought your Minuteness workshop, I watched everything, but I will tackle my mini journals once I finish my huge task I am on right now, hopefully very soon. One last thing: RUclips does show me your videos very often.
Hello from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 I’ve watched you for a few years now. I actually learned a lot from watching you make journals and use recycled materials for them. You could always scan the other side of pages from the books before you use them.
I have this addiction. I love Art Supplies. My friends know it too! I come up with all types of reasons why I need this or that. I really don’t need anything. No buy Year sounds reasonable. Thank you!
A big hello and wave from Bath, UK! Love that gold mica powder paint that turns blue! I'm a big fan of the aqua shimmer pens. I have a great many of them. I love gold shimmer on a page! A page of mine isn't complete without some bit of gold shimmer! I don't think I've done any hauls for a while. I think that last time I did was after NaNoWriMo after I reached my goal as a reward. Now I think I only buy things if I see the product and it makes my heart sing or if its something I've run out of. Looking forward to seeing what your create with you new goodies! Hope you're having a lovely weekend! xx
I'm halfway thru watching, and I'm sharing in your delight. Also my daughter had a teeshirt once which said "I eat glitter for breakfast" I think you embody that sentiment too😂❤
Loved watching this. Can’t wait to see what you do with those beautiful books. Just out of interest roughly how big is your art room that you filmed this in? Only reason I ask is that I have a tiny art room / spare room and I love the way that you have organised your space and I might borrow some of your ideas 💡 😂❤
I'm thinking these stamps may be from letters to Santa. Someone at the post office kept all of the stamps and destroyed all the letters. Kept the stamps as a way to keep count. Just a strange thought. This was a wonderful hall. I just love watching you. Thanks for sharing.❤
Hey Jenny, Loved this video. About the books you can't bear to cut up have you tried scanning and printing the images you want? I have the same problem with books and magazines an dhave done the scan thing to be able to use both sides. The scan may not be quite the same but it works. About the stamps, all the same almost, perhaps you might consider sending them along with those things you give away or as an extra when someone buys something. Just a couple of thoughts that came to my mind as I watched,
for some reason when I clicked on your etsy shop link my virus protection wouldn't let me proceed. I did make it there by going to etsy first. Happy to see that you are back more
Thanks for letting me know, I think I fixed it ( www.etsy.com/shop/paperclayjunkie ) The shop needs a bit of tidying up but I'll be putting some new listings in there soon so hit the follow shop button if you would like to see them x
I’m in East Sussex, UK.
Trying new art supplies, finding what suits you, is part of everyone's art journey, you shouldn't stunt that as it the road to discovery. Over consumption is a problem everywhere (think fast fashion), but don't let the restriction of buying new things stilt your creativity. Float free and don't judge those on their own journey.
Hi Jenni, I think we love to buy new things like birds love to collect shiny objects. It's all going back to some primordial need to find water; like how water shows up as something sparkly as you're scanning the horizon. You gotta go get it! But too much stuff can lead to paralysis. I agree that having fewer supplies can lead to greater creativity. It's that old thing about necessity being the mother of invention. Creativity is problem solving, right? Thanks for the video. 🚰
Happy Weekend!! What caught your eye most out of this haul?? 😍
The creamy pastel paints, they look yummy, I never saw that before and also the thing which becomes blue, that is something!
I truly love the books that you were able to find. And books were my last haul also. A friend of mine sent me so cardstock and stickers and some wax creamy yummy paste. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Have a fabulous weekend. Sherry
glittery gel and the pastel paints 😍

Hi from Geelong Australia I agree 100% love your videos
I am from Seattle, but originally from Hungary and from Hungary we moved to Canada first 18 years ago.
Hello. Always good to see a video of yours. Nice haul.

Hi, been watching you for years. I'm originally from London, UK but moved to Spain 36 years ago for love and I'm still here in Madrid with the same man. Holiday romances do work sometimes. Loved the video.❤
Aww nice story ❤❤❤

Hi Jennibellie thank you so much for your video of your haul and trying out your art supplies xx I would love to see what you do with your oil pastels in art please , I have some but don’t really use them x ❤ from Uk x
I have always loved that you have said to use what you have for years and I totally love that about you and your channel Jennibellie x ❤
😂 I was very obstinate as a child 🤣
By the way, I’m in L.A., but you know that, you interviewed me for your blog like… Such a long time ago!
I bought your Minuteness workshop, I watched everything, but I will tackle my mini journals once I finish my huge task I am on right now, hopefully very soon.
One last thing: RUclips does show me your videos very often.
Great advice
I'm from Mississippi USA, that was a great craft haul. I craft altered books.
I am from Venezuela Jennibelle, live in England when i was 8 now i am 60 ❤
That dry paint is gorgeous. I'm from California, have followed you for years.
Love those new art supplies! 🎉❤. I think you should wear a t-shirt “I want art supplies for all gifts”!😊
good idea 😂❤
Hello from Norway!🙂 Love watching your videos!❤🙂☀️
Hi 😊 from Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦
Just found your channel and I love it ❤
Oh jennie!!! We wont hold it against you if you change your mind!! Go for it!!!
temptress... 😂❤
Hello from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 I’ve watched you for a few years now. I actually learned a lot from watching you make journals and use recycled materials for them.
You could always scan the other side of pages from the books before you use them.
Very true! x
Hi, from South Africa. Always inspired by your videos❤
I have this addiction. I love Art Supplies. My friends know it too! I come up with all types of reasons why I need this or that. I really don’t need anything. No buy Year sounds reasonable. Thank you!
Hi from sunny Florida! 🌞
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! xx
thx for sharing!
Hi Jennie, watching from Arkansas USA. Thanks for sharing!
I'm halfway thru watching, and I'm sharing in your delight. Also my daughter had a teeshirt once which said "I eat glitter for breakfast" I think you embody that sentiment too😂❤
Oooooh I LOVE that! ❤❤❤
Hi from Sheffield, UK. I love going round charity shops looking for emphemera and books, magazine I can take images or lettering from.
Thank you! I'm enjoying this! ❤
I'm curious about where people are from too. I'm in Florida🌴 :)
Hey Jenny,
Loved this video. Just a couple of thoughts that came to my mind as I watched,
Hi from NC! TFS 💜
for some reason when I clicked on your etsy shop link my virus protection wouldn't let me proceed.
Love Nuvo!!!!!
I’m in East Sussex, UK. Loved watching this. Can’t wait to see what you do with those beautiful books. Just out of interest roughly how big is your art room that you filmed this in? tfs such an interesting topic
So true!
Hello from Australia. Love your videos 💖
That light pad looks great! I could use something like that as well... 🤔 but then: wise words. You don't NEED anything...
❤❤❤awesome thank you❤❤❤
