Logic is so complex. You keep showing me things I didn’t know existed 👍

Excellent. I would call this series "Logic Pro on iPad: The Ultimate Guide" 😊

I found out something really annoying in logic for iPad…I have a project that I’m working on and over a few days I have been changing the sample in alchemy to see what sounds best..this project is at 14gigs,I’ve duplicated project and deleted absolutely everything but yet the empty project is still at 14gigs..this app seems to store bloat files that cant be deleted..I know on the Mac version you can delete unused files project to free up space but there is no option for iPad this really makes the app bad..this doesn’t happen in Cubasis or fl studio, please can you give some advice on this

Indeed i do not recall an optimisation option for project files… and of course you can load the file into the mac version to do that but then you need to own it twice… hopefully this is an area that will improve as this is the first public release…

@@soundformore I hope so..I’m using iPad Pro I don’t own a Mac I’ve got damn windows pc..I hope they fix this issue because all the years I’ve been using cubasis I’ve never had this problem..I’ve never ever seen one project taking up 14gigs especially when there is only 8 tracks in the project

What is the structure of your project? Number tracks, number of loops?

Hi, Quick question. What’s the difference between Flex Time and using the tempo analyser? And what would be the use cases? Thx

Flex time allows you to adjust how the playback is processed for each audio sample including creating some special fxs. Smart tempo and analyse tempo allow you to analyse the audio file for tempo information or detection of tempo information; in so doing you can for example force alignment of the region tempo with the project tempo or viceversa as an example…
