Being at home full time, being avaibale for family and extended family's needs, managing the household [shopping, cleaning, scheduling appointments, meal planning, food prep, clean up and dishes, gardening, animal husbandry, ect ect] is 100% unpaid labor that should be, at a minimum, verbally acknowledged and appreciated. It tends to crop up more the more authoritarian the people who are using it are (which also isn't specifically fascist) but it can be used by anyone. When a group starts using that it's a sign to be wary of other things they're saying too. The right wing in the US has been heading towards specifically fascism lately, though, which is why I mentioned that.

He has so many accounts and for a while there, I tried to block each new account of him only for him to turn up under a new account name. One of the first things I noticed about him was that he acted like what he was saying was witty-but it wasn't. The second thing was him always filling his face! Walking through homeless camps and talking about "trash" was pure evil. I been in those areas many times and the people are very sweet. To mention OUT LOUD about trash where he knows they can hear just shows how compassionate and how caring he actually is.

I've lived there. Alot of them will try to stab you, leave needles on the ground for you to step on, and shit on the sidewalk right in front of you. So yes, sure. Some of them are kind and normal people. Many are dangerous,drug addicted and need serious mental health services. Reality is not as simple as you pretend. That said, I've also been homeless 3 times and for over a year. I understand the issue from both sides.

Still, the people I have interacted with were genuinely sweet despite their conditions and would ask politely for money or food. I felt he didn't need to talk that way in front of them or AT ALL. I still get where you're coming from, but you have to admit that saying it was out of line, especially when it was obvious he was not getting harassed at the time.

They don't mean any harm when they say it. Also probably got dementia and altimeters ( if I can spell which I cant) mixed up again. My grandmother would forget things that were just said ( like me telling her about school 4 times in one visit which I never minded because it wasn't her fault) and a few times she would say something close to this but we would just correct her and move on. She mostly only said it because she used to watch the news but stopped when she entered the home which was a very good one because everything was clean and everyone was cared for.

When my sons were 4 & 7, my parents decided they wanted to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and took my boys with them. My boys experienced their first Drag Parade from their hotel balcony on Bourbon Street. My father explained it all to my boys as they were seeing them get ready for the parade. They loved it and received many beads (IDK, they both NEVER met a stranger, all I know is they were, at one point in a "let's see if I can ring your head" contest with people on the street below) You see IF you take the TIME to explain to CHILDREN the ways of this world and that people are ALL different, there is NEVER an issue. My boys are now 31 & 34 and I am VERY PROUD of them both, they are great Dad's, Husband's, Bosses and GREAT human beings, period. Walking through homeless camps and talking about "trash" was pure evil. I been in those areas many times and the people are very sweet. To mention OUT LOUD about trash where he knows they can hear just shows how compassionate and how caring he actually is.
Also extremely dangerous to do that. Like what if one of them just got attacked and treated like shit, go back to their tent to recover having a bad day abd heard him say that. I mean they got nothing to lose and sure they'll be arrested if they attack him but free food and housing is to some better than the street. Not everyone but a very small minority of them
I've lived there. Alot of them will try to stab you, leave needles on the ground for you to step on, and shit on the sidewalk right in front of you. So yes, sure. Some of them are kind and normal people. Many are dangerous,drug addicted and need serious mental health services.

That said, I've also been homeless 3 times and for over a year. I understand the issue from both sides.

Still, the people I have interacted with were genuinely sweet despite their conditions and would ask politely for money or food. I felt he didn't need to talk that way in front of them or AT ALL. I still get where you're coming from, but you have to admit that saying it was out of line, especially when it was obvious he was not getting harassed at the time.

Both that many of these people desperately need access to services *and* that it is vile for him to enter a homeless encampment solely to make the implication that the people who live there are the equivalent of environmental pollutants. ESPECIALLY with how bad housing is in LA (as someone who also lives in SoCal, not disclosing exactly where for obvious reasons haha).

The only people Jesus really spoke bad about were the rule following and tradition above compassion types of people. The religious leaders he criticised were full of prejudice and cared more about the laws of their religion than common decency, most conservative Christians fit that category and most of them are following the broad path to Hell. In the Bible Jesus never once shamed someone for being this or that. He hung out and ate with prostitutes, which I personally can’t see any conservative Christian doing without judging the person harshly or being arrogant and “holier than thou” around them.

They don't mean any harm when they say it. Also probably got dementia and altimeters ( if I can spell which I cant) mixed up again. My grandmother would forget things that were just said ( like me telling her about school 4 times in one visit which I never minded because it wasn't her fault) and a few times she would say something close to this but we would just correct her and move on. She mostly only said it because she used to watch the news but stopped when she entered the home which was a very good one because everything was clean and everyone was cared for.

When my sons were 4 & 7, my parents decided they wanted to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and took my boys with them. My boys experienced their first Drag Parade from their hotel balcony on Bourbon Street. My father explained it all to my boys as they were seeing them get ready for the parade. They loved it and received many beads (IDK, they both NEVER met a stranger, all I know is they were, at one point in a "let's see if I can ring your head" contest with people on the street below) You see IF you take the TIME to explain to CHILDREN the ways of this world and that people are ALL different, there is NEVER an issue. My boys are now 31 & 34 and I am VERY PROUD of them both, they are great Dad's, Husband's, Bosses and GREAT human beings, period. They were taught to SEE THE PERSON not their OWN PERCEPTION of that person, no matter WHO they are!
