The GM has eight threat? And in one go they took out your shields and your weapons? Run. Live to fight another day.
This was the most helpful video so far I've seen. Thanks for putting this up. It really helps explain the starship combat mechanics and present them in a fun way!

Nice printout of the Cigar galaxy. Mind you it's an odd background for a Star Trek battle in our own galaxy. But it looks cool!

Ummm... ramming speed? Starfleet may want everybody to have a urinalysis test... I mean it worked but that’s not how you use a starship!
I mean USS Voyager does have a much more pointy style than previous starships, why would the make them more pointy than previous if they don't want you to ram them into other ships?
