Your videos should be used in schools to show kids where stuff comes from and to maybe inspire a future generation to take agriculture seriously. I bet there are a ton of kids that would be interested in this that probably never even see it.
Good tractor and combine eye candy. Thanks for the video. That's just amazing how wide a swath those things cut down. Even more amazing it can separate all that product and just keep the corn.
This was very nice to see where that crop started, I remember the planting and Nitrogen videos, o great to see how the loop has been closed, thumbs up for that
I love how you told the beginning to end story! Great Video as always. All the combines "shared" satellite guidance so they can see where other has harvested if I am correct.
Thank you for watching. I enjoy watching your channel. I am a yard farmer. I have an Ariens GT18, Allis-Chalmers B-10 and Oliver 125 lawn and garden tractors.
Oh yeah, no doubt, i never knew a thing about farming, i never knew what a silage bunker was until my dad told me, he worked on a farm, and i took them answers and applied them to Farming Simulator.
Good Sunday morning corn harvest. Liked that you showed the planting back in March. Why a 12 row head when 16 & 24 row models are available ? As usual you did a fine job providing entertaining and educational ag videos. Be well to you, crew and kin alike. Thanks
Thank you for watching. A 12 row 30 inch corn head matches up the best with a 24 row 30 inch corn planter. There is not a 24 row 30 inch corn head at this time. I am working on a video that features four farms I film at that use 16 row 30 inch corn heads. Stay tuned.
Excellent video. I like you attempting to show the field activities associated with growing a corn crop from planting thru side dressing to harvest. Did they not spray the corn crop for bugs or fungi in June or July?
I'm curious how they keep these machines running every day? With all the dust and debris, would be a nice video to see the maintenance behind these machines, do they clean them every day, grease, air filters etc...there has to be a good story of the people that keep these machines running non stop like they do!!
Hey, nice video - as usual! But one thing: You say, the Joystick is the same that be used in 8R & 9R tractors. I never saw one of these in there, only in the new 6R. Did I missed some thing? Greeting from Germany.
I am fairly certain Deere tractors, combines and sprayers all use the same control set up. When I film a 9620R soon I will feature the controls to confirm.
I agree with the monitor and buttons. In this case I mean the control stick: ruclips.net/video/xQVBCjjXjdg/видео.htmlm31s Here you can see - just a little stick no multi function like in the 6R or the combine
I've seen the guy who started the auto steer system, He was from Edmonton Alberta I don't know if he ever finished it or if someone else took over and made it like is today. Never met him saw Him on the Prairie farm Report I saw the early version of the auto steer
BTP you need to check out Andrew Hourigans channel from last night he did a stream on some of his equipment I think you would have a Hay day there he seems like a super guy. Nice videos yourself.
I am not completely sure. The tall bins look like 75,000 bu bins. Another farm I film at put some up that look like those and they are 75K. The tan shed there is part of the bin system. It holds 200,000 bu. I filmed the shed being filled and emptied.
The corn fields get lime in the fall after harvest before winter wheat is planted on them. Corn follows soybeans and only nitrogen is applied on those fields in the spring.
I do not know. I have not asked. It’s a good amount. They run three 24 row corn planters in the spring and two 47 row 15 inch planters for beans after wheat.
I'm here to observe boots on the ground crop conditions. The machinery is nice but our current and future weather conditions have some folks looking at what's going on during harvest. Do yourself, and your channel a favor and interview the farmer. What are the surrounding county yields? What's happening with the harvest and processors? You have unique access to real conditions that affect us all. Thanks.
Excellent video B.T.P....one thing that doesn't make much sense though, you were talking about how the track system on those Kinze grain carts helps in fighting compaction which will reduce next years corn yield. If your doing ANYTHING so far as planting, plowing, disking, etc.,these ground engaging implements break up the soil which aids in stopping any degree of compaction. Every time I hear that word compaction,I start laughing a little bit because that just doesn't make any sense.
Plowing and disking are notorious for increasing soil compaction. They also disturb the natural biochemistry of the soil, reducing soil health and the natural layers of the soil.
Never heard of a planter breaking up compaction before. The disk and plow aren't used by this operation according to the video because like BTP stated this is " "No Till". So what am I or we missing?
We talked allot. In fact I have interviews with him planting corn, harvesting wheat and harvesting corn. Timing wise for this video I only included a short clip.
Love watching these big machines in these huge fields. So unlike where I grew up and used to farm in licking county Ohio.
Thank you for watching. Farming is different here in WKY. I grew up in Bew York State and was amazed when I moved here at the size of the farms.
This is my favorite RUclips channel. A childhood dream come true to see these machines up close and in action. Keep the fantastic content coming
Thank you for watching. I grew up watching machines in the field from a distance and I enjoy getting out to film and share them.
you are right I live on a big farn with a s690 combin
Your videos should be used in schools to show kids where stuff comes from and to maybe inspire a future generation to take agriculture seriously. I bet there are a ton of kids that would be interested in this that probably never even see it.
Thank you for the compliment. I plan to do some vegetable harvest videos to show how popular veggies move from the field to the can.
Good tractor and combine eye candy. Thanks for the video. That's just amazing how wide a swath those things cut down. Even more amazing it can separate all that product and just keep the corn.
It is impressive. Wait till I feature 16 row heads in a future video. They really mow down corn.
This was very nice to see where that crop started, I remember the planting and Nitrogen videos, o great to see how the loop has been closed, thumbs up for that
You are a BTP super fan. Thank you for following the videos. It’s fun to show how they all line up.
Great harvesting video. I love those big Class Eight combines.
They sure can clear off some corn.
Great idea posting from beginning to end of this crop.
Glad you liked this. I will share more like this.
I love how you told the beginning to end story! Great Video as always. All the combines "shared" satellite guidance so they can see where other has harvested if I am correct.
You are correct.
Awesome green machines 👌
👍👍
Great video! Thanks for sharing! Love the John Deere!
Thank you for watching.
Very nice video! Thanks for posting.
Thank you for watching. I enjoy watching your channel. I am a yard farmer. I have an Ariens GT18, Allis-Chalmers B-10 and Oliver 125 lawn and garden tractors.
Thank you BTP. Keep up the good footage and information.
Your welcome. Thank you for watching.
Awesome vids & Great narration- This city slicker is loving it!!! Please, keep them coming🤠🤠🤠
Thank you for watching. There will be new video posted today.
Sou m brasileiro fã do canal Big Tractor Power .Parabéns a toda a equipe .
I like the combo video of harvesting & planting.
Glad you liked it. I plan to do more like this for other farms.
always enjoy the ride alongs.
👍
Wow...your content and quality just keep getting better...love the videos
Thank you for watching. A Gleaner video is up next.
Really cool, they haven't harvest here yet, but usually about mid to late September, they'll harvest. But man seeing JD makes fs19 more needed lol.
I hope these videos will help FS19 players learn more about the John Deere machines.
Oh yeah, no doubt, i never knew a thing about farming, i never knew what a silage bunker was until my dad told me, he worked on a farm, and i took them answers and applied them to Farming Simulator.
From no-till plant to harvest-excellent video BTP
Thank you very to show all operations before corn harvest
Thank you for watching. I will do more videos like this showing the season and how machines line up.
Could you showing shop and grain storage ?

Thank you for watching.
Wow the amount of automation on that harvester is amazing I wonder how long before the harvesters will be operating themselves
They pretty much drive them selves now. It won’t be too long.
They pretty much do already & it's pretty damn sweet. Farming has come a long way
Excellent video. I like you attempting to show the field activities associated with growing a corn crop from planting thru side dressing to harvest. Did they not spray the corn crop for bugs or fungi in June or July?
They do. I did not get to film it this year.
Awesome Video!!
Thank you for watching. I got a green combine in for you. The video is Silver.
Very good machinery
Looks to be easy going. Doesn't seem like there's a big rush to get the job done.
It moves along at a steady pace.
Another great video. Man was that cool.
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed the harvest.
I LOVE THIS KIND OF VIDEOS
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Thanks
I don't think that joystick has been used in the tractors yet, other than the 6250R and the 6230R, but not in the 7, 8, or 9R machines. Great video.
great vid
Thank you for watching.

See my most recent video. It will show the service routine on five John Deere S790 combines.
Have you ever tried to get to Tom Farms in leesburg Indiana? 19000 acre farm just down the road from my work.
I have not. Sounds like a neat operation.
En Argentina sembramos el maíz 🌽 a52cm y tenemos unos rindes de asta 150 quintales x hectáreas
Are you going to travel North and follow the harvest season or just stick close to home and change over to tillage videos?
Tillage is on the way. I have two fall trips planned. One will be way up North. Stay tuned.
Nice footage. How about the yelds? I think Those machines clean a field Very quickly
This over 200 bu.
Felicidades siempre Muy buenos videos Saludos
Back in my day you could take a quick glance at that big window behind your head and see if you had to much trash in the grain. No computer needed!
I like classic combines allot but these new combines produce much cleaner grain.
Hey, nice video - as usual!

I will check it out.
When the combine unloads into the cart, is it true that the combine can take control of the speed of the tractor hauling the cart?
If the case, how does it work?
Rémi Gagné yes that is true. The gps systems work in sync to stay together.
Impressive! Thanks very much Tanner Harms!
Wow what do those bins in the background at around 4.30 hold?
I am not completely sure. The tall bins look like 75,000 bu bins. Another farm I film at put some up that look like those and they are 75K. The tan shed there is part of the bin system. It holds 200,000 bu. I filmed the shed being filled and emptied.
Great video keep up the geart work how long wad harvest on this felid
I would say this field took four hours with the three combines.
What camera or camcorder do you record on tractors?
Cannon
What is in these 2 gray things in front of the tractor, pesticide?
They are fertilizer tanks used with the corn planter in the spring.
So they lime the feilds than plant the corn with nitrogen and popup with the seeds
The corn fields get lime in the fall after harvest before winter wheat is planted on them. Corn follows soybeans and only nitrogen is applied on those fields in the spring.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you.
Otimo video amigo.
Thank you.
can you tell us how many acres this farm has in corn and beans to harvest
I do not know. I have not asked. It’s a good amount. They run three 24 row corn planters in the spring and two 47 row 15 inch planters for beans after wheat.

How Many Days Does It Take To Harvest a Corn Filed Or a Soy Bean Field?
A field is usually a day or less. The harvest will take about 3 weeks for all fields.
@@bigtractorpower ok
If it ain't green... It ain't mean
All dry land
Yes no irrigation. Just regular rain.
Rtk signal or not?
I am not sure. I will have to ask.
Im surprised that some of those farmers don't use that autonomous technology where there is no need for a operator
Full autonomous is close each year but still allot of safety programming to do.
Who is the local dealer?
Hutson
just feel like the tractors are overkill for the 1770nt planters
With 1,000 gallons of chemical they work well. They also do tillage, seeding and grain carting.
bigtractorpower ya i guess they are good for when you have that extra weight of the fertilizer with those triples
Eu prefiro mais as colheitadeiras Case ih
Why do not you buy a drone? Will help you create even better videos
You will see some videos with drone footage of corn harvest this fall. Stay tuned.
Dor valor amigos
Go find a farmer driving a good old 9600 or 9610 and take us on a little history tour. Hard to believe a 9600 is an antique already...
I hope to get both of those this fall. Stay tuned. Where I live almost everyone has an S series so the 9000 and 9010 combines are bit hard to find.
I doubt they grease. Anything
Why do you think they do not grease the machines?
A

Plowing and disking are notorious for increasing soil compaction. They also disturb the natural biochemistry of the soil, reducing soil health and the natural layers of the soil.
I should have further added the track reduces compaction by spreading out the weight.
@@bigtractorpower HAHA!!.But your tilling the soil, which breaks up any compaction issues to start with.
@Ridin' Green Sigh,if I didn't watch this video, how could I come up with this logical evaluation of it??.
Never heard of a planter breaking up compaction before. The disk and plow aren't used by this operation according to the video because like BTP stated this is " "No Till".
So what am I or we missing?
Aren't you a bit unfriendly to the driver? It seems that you are not talking very much with the operator, do you?
We talked allot. In fact I have interviews with him planting corn, harvesting wheat and harvesting corn. Timing wise for this video I only included a short clip.
