i hope you enjoyed rummaging through my backpack~ i'm a much simpler packer these days, necessary items only!
i'm currently home in texas, which is very nice. the weather is cool and i keep running into familiar faces everywhere i go. a true small town, one i've memorized and built memories in my entire childhood. it's perfect and i am so so pleased to be back.
i'm sitting in a cafe, as always. i've watched people come and go all day, and it's incredible, because almost every face i'd seen atleast once before. so different from the big city. better? not sure, i kinda like the anonymity of the city these days.
thank you for watching these silly videos. it dumbfounds me every day. every once in a while i'll step back and realize there are many more of you than live in my hometown and it makes me heart beat very fast. thank you, truly.

yo i highly recommend getting a bike. with such a huge campus and just LA in general, a bike is so handy. less than superb public transportation and no car so its nice to have a bike bc walking everywhere can be a bit much sometimes. or if youre in a rush, a bike is faster.

At my high school, we have lockers but the school is so big that our classes are across the school and don’t have time to go to our lockers so we have to carry everything wow I love being prepared for college

if you’re looking for an eraser to make the weird eraser ball, look for “eraser dust sticks together” or something similar on the labels. those are the ones with eraser shavings that can “stick” together and form the ball lol.
some of the brands that work for me are: faber castell, pentel, and sometimes, stabilo.

At Barnes and Noble they have a journal called something like The Student Journal. It's organized in sections like life, school, things that are due, etc. I saw it when looking for my summer reading and it looked amazing and totally usuable. Definitely recommend!!

it starts off with making eraser shavings
then,
you smoosh the shavings together
after that,
you keep needing the ball
all you really need to do is need the shavings together and at some point it will stick to each other

you can actually buy erasers like that. they are called kneaded erasers ( at least in Canada )

i just realized how crazy youtube is. we watch these people for the entertainment and fun or even for emotional support. and them being able to fufill their dreams just cause we watch their videos is insane. were changing their lives every second and they get to do what they lol. I'm so proud cone.
I don't know if it's just me but cone's videos really motivate me. Either creating art or school I feel ready to do stuff after watching my boy cone. The little eraser-mush-ball you have is called a kneaded eraser! I always buy mine from art stores and things, I never realized you could make them like that! Artists use them a lot, they're helpful when you want to erase teensy-tiny details!
And when you want to lighten your sketch to make lineart (yes I'm also an artist woooo high five)

Also, Conan, thanks for inspiring me to collect pins! I have a dakine skateboard backpack in which I have about 60 enamel pins on it, and I've sewed 8 patches on it. And let me tell you, I use the heck outta it. I get a lot of compliments on it and people always ask me where I get my pins from, and to be honest, I only bought about an eight of them, and the rest I got from my parents, grandparents, relatives and friends. So now I have pieces of my friends with me!
