    Remarkable review bro. Cool car, admittedly from a BMW fanatic.

      How can I not appreciate this. Thank you Mzwandile. This is a beautiful car and it does meet it's luxury intention👌🏾👌🏾🙂

    Road noise can cause by driving in sport mode, above average of tire pressure. To feel its comfort set it to comfort mode and adjust tire pressure to maximum of three passengers

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  10 месяцев назад +1

      Fair point, I agree on the tire pressure, it can surely assist but overall still loud with the low profile tires fitted. I have experienced bigger tires and it floats nicely on comfort.

    I'd likely choose the 220d, I value saving money lol
    I really think the noise is due to the low profile tyres. I've driven the previous generation C Class and it was not amg line. It had high profile tyres and the noise insulation was good in my opinion, definitely better than the previous generation 3 series. Even over bumps the car remained super comfortable and absorbed the smaller imperfections on the road really well

      😅, I am probably the only one who loves the petrol at this point. I think also the rear axle steering on the petrol I tested had a lot to do with it. I agree there, it's the low profile tyres contributing to this, the sport suspension adds to the overall discomfort as well. I drove the previous gen and yes it was floating nicely mostly because of the bigger tyres.

      Your review makes me feel good about my F30 BMW 3 series. Noise is part of the low profile tyres. Once the suspension wears in, the suspension will feel firmer. I managed to get 6.3 litre per 100km and 900km on a tank driving to the coast with a 320i B48 engine.

    • @vincentmothapa2421
      @vincentmothapa2421 Год назад

      @@justindaniel5959 that's impressive fuel consumption from a 2 liter engine. The firm ride is also helped by tyres that can absorb more bumps on the roads, although the m sport does naturally have a firm suspension

    • @justindaniel5959
      @justindaniel5959 Год назад

      @@vincentmothapa2421 this consumption was with a fully loaded car and 4 passengers with air con on, speed of 120km/h. I feel like these newer models C Class and 3 Series, I have driven them are only 10% improvement over previous models. Gizmo ambient lighting and better shock absorbers, once the car gets 20000km or 30000km you start to notice more issues like noise and build quality etc .

    I'll definitely go with the diesel, the torque for me is way better than kilowatts.

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  Год назад

      If I have something else to play with yes I'd take the diesel but right now, petrol is the way for me. I agree though that when it's yours for a long period, that excitement in petrol will not be there because it will mean paying for fuel😅

    Awe awe my Mann!!
    It must be such a privilege driving such machines!😮🤓
    Anyway it’s hard with Mercedes because they really have an offering for every kind of person🎉
    Personally Mr S without a doubt il take a C220d I mean fuel efficiency is everything to me unfortunately and when you have owned a VW polo vivo or equivalent kind of efficient car, it’s hard to change even if the budget allows😂😅
    Plus the C200 is only couple thousands cheaper so in terms of money that’s not really a debate.
    I see the petrol has more KW but less torque and for diesel vice versa.
    Torque is the way to go for cruising and KW for speed and revving😊
    Either way this is the best or nothing and really none will disappoint 😌

      Ozem my brother🙂🙂🙂! These are actually much better cars compared to the cars they replace. I am glad they did not lose the plot. I am blessed and highly favoured my friend, I appreciate these moments. I can't settle for diesel on this one yoh😭🤣
      I see the fuel consumption but that petrol encourages you to have fun ey🤣

    Well, that navigation system really looks good, especially on these screens. Personally I'll choose this oil burner, I prefer torque over power...anyway as always, the scenery is amazing on these drives and I really enjoy them...big thanks for the effort sir🙏🙏🙏

      My brother🙂, thanks a lot for coming through as usual. I can't get over how I enjoyed that Petrol but I totally understand why one would pick this as you can't always aim for fun hard pulls when you live with it👌🏾

    These are mild hybrids as they only provide extra power when needed, you can't drive on electric power alone. Similar to a tradional hybrid but without the function. Also powering the electrical systems without the engine running.

    I have the same road noise problem with my CLA 35 it's not the road .... their AMG suspensions will really make you deaf on long trips

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  Год назад

      At least you have the engine to play with in the 35😅. But yeah the road noise is coming into the cabin. I only drove the CLA35 on the track and did not focus on comfort. The sound system helps but as well the standard one is not that good at deleting outside noises
