The level is crazy isn’t it. To truly be able to calculate all of this it’s subconscious. It’s too fast to do it consciously. So these top players achieve the flow state for long periods of the game with is equally as impressive, getting out of their own head and letting their subconscious take over

tbh this is a very good analysis for messis barcelona and ronaldos real madrid side they both are very very good it just shows how serious the best two teams are at football from: scanning, off the ball movements and anticipating space with high level field of vision.

great analysis...many things can be learned from ur research, and more confirmation on my idea of leo's completeness as an individual player, while ronaldo's as a team player....but u have chosen the two players in history for whom, one match isn't enough to understand both..several matches between them where they outshined each other..in their own way ofc.. 😅thanks again, and i'll hope any messi haters watch ur video carefully before bluffing about "messi lost" and "ronaldo won the game alone/carried the whole team"..i admire both of them, but always been leo's fan for what he is capable of..and ur video analysis is kinda proof to that....ur analysis also shows something crucial for the haters to see, another of my belief proved, the difference between them when they receives the ball, 'number' of defenders trying to stop...leo has always been the face of "Valor", the "one man army" kinda thing, the entire defense force's reaction whenever he touches the ball is proof of that..but i admire ronaldo too for consistency at keeping up so close, his self-motivation thing, his example as perfect one to rise beyond through shear hardwork and willpower..just don't like when his fans bluff and display stupidity to hate leo, something he never deserved...

Ronaldo's off the ball, and recognising space is lethal, but messi is more like midfielder more technical, scanning, and obviously, his space recognition and off the ball are lethal too,but messi prefers to play with ball while Ronaldo shows us we still win and play this beautiful game without the ball.

@jaykrishnan1398 agree with bro. Football fans are fanatic today, they always try hard to bring their idol for ordinary reasons like off the ball. CR7 is one of the best headers right? Does it mean he can score by heading when he came back MU in 2021? Definitely No! In the same way, off the ball skill is important but more important and decisive is the ball passed to the striker generally. In a match, attackers will make a lots of runs, some good some fake, and sometimes bad. But there are a couple of chances can be created, mostly depending on passing quality. If delusional fans want to praise great strikers like CR7, no one can denies his mentality, physicality, his shooting/heading ability but off-the-ball cannot a player become great!

Do you do anything on mindsets. The different mindsets of different “types” of players and/or different mindsets of players as they get into particular positions/areas on the pitch.
I’m of the belief that the more creative/dimensional you are the more confident, steely and focused you have to be as you there are more options for you but also more risk of making the wrong decision.
Obviously as a professional having a strong mindset to go along with technique and understanding is key but just wanted your thoughts on it.
Separately I saw a snippet of a course pop up on screen. Where can I get this?
When you say mind set, the way you describe it sounds like you’re talking about more of the thought process for each different position is that what you mean? And yeah if you can play multiple positions you hold more information about the game. And need to adapt more, where as a player who plays the same position week in week out can play on auto pilot

One of the reasons why I disagree with people who think Ronaldo couldn't have played in Barça with Tiki Taka, think about it, Messi finding passing lines to give the ball to Ronaldo and Ronaldo finding space to exploit making a run and since Barça players are meant to read passes, Suarez would already be at the passing line Ronaldo will find, being able to finish the job.

You obviously did not really watch Barca play tiki taka.. the tactic wasnt about feeding the ball to a single player.. The tactic heavily relied on players with high ball control ability and passing abilities.. and half the barca players had these qualities.. Bousquest, Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.. And sometimes even Dani alves joined in.. making quick passes at close range was the key.. And Ronaldo passing ability doesnt measure up to the level needed to play tiki taka..

This is true analysis. Many people underrate Ronaldo movement and his link up play, alongside his great one touch pass moments which are crucial for his teams, but you did not you showed it here. They are both best at what they do, Messi is more playmaker, dribler type and Ronaldo is these physically imposing figure who is there to dominate.They are both best at what they do and it is showcased here. Fitness, being able to do many high intensity runs (over 85% sprint) and many of them and be fit for that. That’s is a mf. And technical ability. Mf have the toughest job technically, having to navigate all angles and know what’s behind them, essentially need to operate technically with small spaces and opponents surrounding you at all times. For this you need advanced technical ability and being comfortable playing with players behind you and all around you and match situations, like playing games and small games will help you get comfortable with the feel of the ball at your feet inside with a field and players and the feel of how it feels to play games/and small games with players tackling you feeling other players bodies the correct movements of a mf (almost no space, tight spaces, (difficult)

Someone made a shart where he analyzed the actions on pitch, what gives you a great distribution of diffrent players playstyles. Messi and Debryune were chilling verry close to each other, while Ronaldo was around players like Lewandoski. Was a great visualisation (they use this alot in basketball)

Fantastic and great analysis bro! I actually think Cristiano Ronaldo is a better playmaker and passer than he gets credited for. I get that some people will point to Messi as the better passer but in my opinion Cristiano Ronaldo is not far away from Messi either. Sure, imo messi is a better passer, but again, Cristiano Ronaldo has shown a decent amount of times in his career that he can make some great throughballs, long balls/passes and passes from time to time and from game to game. In other words i think Cristiano Ronaldo s Vision is underrated 7️⃣😊🇵🇹 also, just to give some context to Messi and Cristiano's stats in key passes, big chances created and accurate throughballs ;

To sum it up, some would conclude that Messi is the more creative player, which i guess is fair to say considering the gap. But if you compare it to other wc players, Cristiano Ronaldo still have very impressive playmaking stats. Even compared to Messi especially in terms of key passes they are very close imo. I just think Cristiano Ronaldo deserves more credit for his overall game outside goalscoring because lets not forget how great of a footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is aswell as Messi!

Suffice to say, this debate only existed because apart from Cristiano there was literally nobody who was putting up the nos. that Messi was putting up.
