He didn't take any risk at the end of the 2013/2014 season due to his injury and even missed a CL quater final 2nd leg vs Dortmund and Copa del Rey final vs Barça . But after the 2014 World Cup he still played some exciting football(became more intelligent) the next 6 months . The last injury that really caused his lost of ability on ball was in Euro 2016 final during his duel vs Payet . After that he became a pure striker.

I still prefer Man U Ronaldo when he showed more of his overall game. Scoring is important but you don't always have to be the one to score every game you have 9 other teammates...I guess this is why I personally pick Messi over Ronaldo.
What makes sense to me is that Cristiano Ronaldo is the fifth greatest footballer of all time. My top 7 are:
1. Lionel Andres Messi Cuccitini
2. Edson Arantes Do Nascimento (Pele)
3. Diego Armando Maradona
4. Alfredo Di Stefano Laulhe
5. Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro
6. Hendrick Johannes Cruijff OON

Cristiano Ronaldo is the least talented, and his influence and productivity was more about his groundbreaking statistics than any other in this seven, but taking him out of the top 7 is pure madness.

Even if he touches the ball lesser, his touch is of gold now. You could see that in his flicks and first-touch shots. The intelligence is incredible. He, nowadays, is dropping back a lot and trying to create game and find spaces. The thing that I'm concerned about is his free-kicks and of him getting beaten by the defenders. The things that are still reliable are his shots and headers.
The two major injuries in 2014 and 2016 man its kinda ruin the skilled Ronaldo that we love if those injuries are not there he would just be still the skillful that we love but in Juve his style has more flair now but his free kick is not going to get better cause his knee hurts when he strike the ball with the knuckle shot style
