The second one truly made me realise how much John actually changed from the start of chapter 1 to the end of the epilogue. He became a much better man and I think he redeemed himself. John changed from a selfish man unconcerned about his family to a man who would do absolutely anything for his family including giving up his outlaw lifestyle and becoming a rancher even though he didn’t want to, fighting in a Mexico revolution and taking on The Mexican Army, killing his father figure, becoming a good father to Jack and a good husband to Abigail. That made me appreciate how far John had come.

I personally don't think that if john never returns, he would still be killed by ross. Cuz in chapter 3 in rdr2, when agent milton and ross discovered the gang's camp, they dont even recognize john and john introduced himself as rip van winkle so I think if john never returned, he would not be associated with the van der linde gang, at least by milton and ross

The fact that Tilly stayed til the very end and took care of Jack when Abigail got captured, I think Tilly and perhaps Mary-beth as well would've stayed with Abigail and help her raise Jack, probably in Saint Denis. in the epilogue after running into Tilly, she writes to the Marstons and says that she felt like an aunt to Jack.

I like how someone finally mentioned the fact that Dutch just wanted attention. I think honestly he murdered Colm’s brother in cold blood because he wanted attention he would get from having a rival. All big gunslingers and gangs all had rivals so Dutch would have one too. Also I think Dutch Turing evil was a combination of his brain injury during the trolly job, Micah manipulating him and being in his ear all the time, the death of Hosea and other characters in the gang, having so many setbacks, having so many doubters, and the fact that he was always evil and that he finally just revealed who he truly was. Hosea was stopping him from being who he truly was. Hosea kept him grounded in reality. After the trolly mission he became very aggressive so that obviously had something to do with it. And Micah fed into his instincts. Micah was the demon on his shoulder well Hosea was the angel on his shoulder.

in this timeline the gang decided to go to Italy. Micah decides to become a pizza maker, and stays in Italy meaning the gang wouldn’t have down fell. and every couple of years dutch goes to Italy to get a pizza from his dear friend

I think Sean would have either sided with Arthur or left the gang early. Also his being alive would have meant that Karen wouldn't succumb into alcoholism and maybe she would've left with him and lived their years as a Bonnie and Clyde type of thing

Well, for the last one, yeah an Italy arch could be interesting, but Rome is probably way to ambitious. Maybe a small Italian town or countryside would be better.

I think that if nobody died and all those people sided with Arthur then Javier would side with Arthur too because he was neutral.
A what if idea I’ve had for a long time: What if, Josiah Trelawny never went to Valentine and was not able to tell the gang where Sean was, and thus couldn’t locate him and save him?
Sean never had a big impact on anybody so probably nothing would happen. If he did save someone in the gang from dying then yes but sean is barely in the game so nothing would probably happen.

What if Dutch decided to go with hoseas idea with the gold scam on Blackwater instead of the money ferry boat ⛴️ robbery. Or what if Arthur decided to leave Micah to hang on strawberry. Arthur could’ve fibbed to Dutch that he tried to saved him but Micah was hung by the time Arthur came to strawberry.

To be honest, the only one that could have survived is Lenny, because with Sean it was too quick that nobody could have done anything and with Hosea, they just couldn't have done nothing, Milton give them a chance but they didn't use it and Hosea was the perfect example so i don't see any scenario where Milton let Hosea live
Charles would 100% raise Jack in John’s place. There’s no way he’s gonna walk away from Jack and Abigail. Charles and Abigail probably won’t start a relationship but I wouldn’t be surprised if one eventually develops in a way. Charles would never doom Abigail to a future of a single mother
I think that if the gang members had survived then micah would have died at beaver hollow as hosea would have still been talking to dutch a lot and micah wouldnt have been able to get dutch or the other gang members that sided with him so easily
I do think that Arthur would have married Abigial if John didnt return. I think that because of a journal entry where he mentions that maybe he should have married Abigail, and that he had thought of that many times. I also believe that Lenny would have been nearly as prominent as Sadie and Charles. He and Arthur had a very close friendship and I believe he would have been by Arthurs side until the end.

it would have been cool if instead of low/high honr only mattering at the very end for the ending, every time a gang member normally dies, it determined on the honor if they died or not.
If I Hosea,Susan, Sean,Lenny,and John were on Arthur side I think Dutch would have joined Arthur

If Sean lived he probably be with Karen keeping her away from the a drunken death. They may end up like Bonnie and Clyde or this is a very low chance try to go clean like John
If Kieran had lived he'll probably be there to help hang Colm then he'll probably stick with Mary-Beth. Than while she have a safe life as writer he'll more than likely try to open/work at stable.
If Lenny lived he would sided with Arthur or have been sent away with Tilly and Jack for safety. After that Lenny being educated may have try to become a Lawyer or writer like Evelyn Miller
If Hosea had lived post Guarma he won't have control over Dutch anymore. In Chapter 4 we can already see Dutch doing his own thing like with Bronte.
Dutch at that point has been stopped by the law and more powerful figures too many times and the carnage he experienced in Guarma has awoke something inside of him.
Him coming back he'll probably still think John is a traitor, Hosea is going to betray him or is a senile old coot, and Arthur as both.
If Hosea did live he may not have much time, he was 55 and the average at that time was 50ish. It's said his father lived until 75 so if he had lived post Beaver Hollow he may have stayed with John and Abigail. Being the grandfather and positive role model for Jack. He may have left with Abigail at Pronghorn Ranch to keep an on eye on her and Jack, but would have lived and die at Beecher's Hope. Jack may still grow up to be a outlaw but with Hosea's influence I think that Jack after killing Ross would have tried to restart the ranch and live a somewhat honest life but being raised by a Gunslinger and Con-man he made be doing some shady business, especially during the 1920s

I just want to take the time to give you your flowers, I have never seen such a beautifully crafted intro (I usually skip intros especially if they're a minute long like yours but not this time) from song selection to the visual build up as well as the design of it all in general felt like I was getting ready to watch an official Rockstar Tv Series. My theory on john leaving the gang, is that it would be much harder for milton and ross to find him because they don't know his real name, and him calling himself rip van winkle would make milton think that he's obviously lying, so when he does get caught by milton they'll either hang him or torture him to reveal the location of the gang or probably strongarm him to hunt down the gang and once they're finished they'll kill him next.
In rdr3 the main protagonist will be the dead ex gang member dude that was shown in chapter 1 they couldn't save his twin brother so part 3 can be two player

If guarma never happened and they ended up going back Arthur could have possibly lived another month. The stress of being stranded on guarma defienetly further progressed his illness

pretty much the same on the original story.
but if they got killed or worst, epilogue wouldn't happened at all, cuz john would be hanged.

till red dead 1 events he would hunt the other members, and getting killed by the end.

would be a fun arc then guarma.
but since the dutch would had the charisma on bronte, it would turn the same thing like the original story but into another place, and jack having a bit of knowlege of italy.
What if John didnt service chapter 1 combined with Milton and Ross finding Johns body and figuring out that Arthur is lying,they try to kill him in chapter 2 but fail,also Hosea getting sent to jail instead of being killed and Kieran with Arthur going against O'driscolls during chapter 4 would make for an intresting timeline

-What if Hosea survived, and Arthur didn't got Tuberculosis:
Probably the whole gang would still togheter at the end of the chapter 6, since Hosea would have convinced Arthur and John to don't leave the gang, and also would have convinced Dutch that Micah was the true rat, killing him in the process, so the pinkertons wouldn't find them anymore. They would still do the train robbery, but probably the whole Wapiti Indians plot wouldn't happen anymore, since it was planned on Dutch's head by Micah since the begginig, so, Eagle Flies would probably still alive, alongside his father at Wapiti. At the end of the chapter, things also would get pretty rough with authorities at Roanoke Ridge, having no other alternative to the gang, than leave the place, and go to New Austin, since is the only Estate they didn't had run for yet. Then would start a whole new 7th chapter, were we would be playing as Arthur at New Austin. At this chapter we would probably see the down fall of the gang, starting by a own initiative of John and Abigail to leave them, scaried with how crazy and violent Dutch was becoming with new stupid robberies and unnecessary adventures (which was inevitable). Arthur and Hosea also weren't glad with new Dutch's behavior, So they plan John's family runaway alongside him, faking his death to all the other members. After that, Arthur and Hosea were betrayed and killed by Dutch when he discovers the truth. This causes on most of the other members leaving the gang, since they thougt Dutch killed them with no reason, but paranoid from his head. At the epilogue, on 1907, we would be abble to play as John Marston at Beecher's Hope, and instead of going after Micah, we go after Dutch in search of revenge at Mount Hagen, but reaching there, John finds out that Dutch was abandoned and left lonely, even by Javier and Bill by now, becoming so lunatic, miserable, and dominated by repentance, that killing him was just doing a favor. So he takes the Black Water Money, and leaves Dutch suffering lonely by Himself in the snow tempest. The rest of the story is the same on rdr1.

Truly mortal kombat new era could’ve used red dead characters. Maybe twist the whole split between the Dutch gang. Morgan’s faction and Dutch or Micah’s faction. But Dutch shoots Hosea thinking that his right hand man turned traitor. And blames Arthur for making Hosea a turncoat.
Honestly I feel like everyone who died or ran away from the gang would’ve been the ones to stand with Arthur, which makes it all sadder because if Arthur had his own half of the gang, he could’ve lived!

The italy part is a very optimistic take. Considering the fact that they all speak english only and in the italy of the late 1800s 90% of the population couldn't write or read, let alone understand english, it would have been, at veru best, nearly impossible for them to even try to find jack. Great take tho.
Saint Denis has a high Chinese, Spanish Italian and French population they were all mixed up into one city. They managed to find Jack their after finding some American folk.

Alright here's how I think the whole thing if everybody lived would play out.
In my opinion, the only ones who would actually stay with the gang up until the very end would only be Hosea, and Kieran. As things began to go really bad after Chapter 4 and all through Chapter 6, another failed robbery and being stranded on Guarma (just nobody died) most would most likely begin to see through Dutch's bullshit, and in turn leave, and I think Sean would be amongst those leaving, and would probably go off with Karen. Lenny would probably be persuaded by Hosea and Arthur to go out and do something with his life, because they would see that the gangs days are finally coming to an end, pretty much being cornered from all sides at this point, since he's a very smart kid he would be like Trelawny and go with Arthur and Hosea's blessing. I know you said you don't care about Kieran but ima still include them here, he was forced to stay with the gang because of O'Driscolls hunting him down at every turn, even though this would be mitigated towards the end of the story, he would be too close to the gang to be able to jump ship now, with the fear of Dutch hunting him down. He sees Arthur as the only one he can really trust so he would side with him in the final standoff, even though Arthur hasn't been the kindest to him. Hosea would be the main one to stay, wanting to go down with the ship, he probably wouldn't be able to stop Dutch's decent into madness, which is why I believe that the story wouldn't exactly change much, as Dutch was starting to go against Hosea's wishes as early as Chapter 1 with the Leviticus Cornwall train robbery. He would mirror that of Arthur in Chapter 6, because Arthur began to adopt his wisdom, and would want to get as many folks out of the gang as they can.
In short:
Sean: Leaves Gang
Lenny: Leaves Gang
Kieran: Stays (Sides with Arthur)
Hosea: Stays (Sides with Arthur)
No
