Yeah I'm happy for rutter too. All he needs is a chance to play and wity that brings confidence. Too many Leeds slagging him before he can prove otherwise.
What a brilliant individual goal for Rutter to score to open his account with Leeds United. Beat four players and then slide the ball home with panache. That should fill the lad with confidence. Now he sees how poor the defending is at this level he should keep playing instinctively and should get a hatful this season.
I always thought he looked like he'd be good. He's strong, fast and tall
@@DiazeDan he certainly has the attributes to become a goalscoring nuisance up top so I hope he finally makes his transfer fee worth it as he's yet to achieve anything special

Jamie Shackleton played well. Respect for Daniel Farke 🤝🙏 and the 49ers . Archie Gray and Ampadu also a blossoming partnership to me Ampadu would make a good Captain got stuck in. Very happy with the players we've signed, and the players we are still linked with.
Still need an LB, a 10 who can play through all our speedy wingers and Piroe, and despite how good Ampadu and Gray have been I certainly wouldn't complain about another CM, but its all looking dangerously like it might be coming together!
Nice for Sini and Willy to both score on their return, hope they both have their heads straight now, cos they'll both tear this league to shreads.

I was glad for Rutter. So many calling him crap when he's not even had a real chance yet.
If we can get bamford fit with his work rate it wouldn't be a bad CM idea as he has an engine in him

Observations from Ipswich. Leeds had a Waitrose attack , Tesco midfield, Poundland defence and a charity shop keeper. Great entertainment and atmosphere yesterday and thought you deserved to win - just. Good luck for the season.

Didn't see this result coming. After a terrible start to the season and a strong one for Ipswich you'd have expected an easy home win. Respect to Scum for getting the 3 points 👍

We NEED to keep hold of Sinisterra, best player in the entire league if you ask me, and i know its wishful thinking as he will probably be snapped up by the end of the window.

Rodon just needed to do No-nonsense defence. Imstead of waiting for Meslier to catch that Drameh backpass, he could've put the body in and Clear it like no nonsense.👍💙💛
Truly. And Ayling's so busy calling for an offside because he was out of position as usual. He's supposeed to be actually marking the man. Where was he? Same old story down that side of the field. Surely he'll have to be replaced? But more positives from this match than I've seen in... how long has it been? I forget. What an attacking force if we can keep them. 4 more days until that window closes 🙏
We need a left back a right back a centre half and a strong central midfielder and we'll be fine
Ayling, Byram and Drameh (if you ignore todays shit show) all more than good enough for this level, and Shacks can play RB too if we needed him to, RB is fine. It's LB we need someone, and a 10 and a little more depth at 8 (despite how good Gray is). All coming together nicely tho!

Had a Leeds fan with us at Millwall today and I’m an Arsenal fan. As he saw the final score it was “only if I was at this match” oh well Millwall beat Stoke 1-0 free tickets so all good…
I’m happy to see the first win in this season. In addition, Ipswich Town was first place before this game.
But our best striker was injured too. So not a true reflection of Ipswich today.

I think Farke has done a brilliant job in making us play for Leeds n the badge n Unity - defo need defence sorting out and wasn’t impressed with Cody - Shacks is brilliant at this level but need consistency and a tight defence - we could easily bounce back

Gnontos nowhere near as key as someone like Sinisterra or Ampadu...
Those 4 goals were amazing, two great individual goals from Rutter and Sinnisterra. Piroe and Gnonto showing that they can be good strikers in the box. The poaching have been missing for a long time. It’s unfortunate for Rhodon to have deflected two goals but soon we hope that he will be intercept those in the future instead of deflecting. It’s so great to see Leeds have many good forwards in the team now

What a difference it makes if you have a Striker to target. Rutter will grow playing left or right behind Piroe it was his best game for leeds. Now things are clear with Gnonto and Sinistera we have a mean strike force

Please go in for Jed Spence and a LB and a midfielder like obrien and we will be cooking away . Nice to see how deadly this attack is gonna be. Sini is such a potent finisher .
Similar to previous seasons, it's the + minutes that seem to do for us. This year that is going to be a major factor in matches, seeing each half out.
Joel Piroe £15 million for a 1-in-2 Striker of 20 goals a Season. Swansea were robbed.

Nice to see two big strong lads up front for LUAFC, reminds me of when I started going to ER with Hankin and Hawley up front. Though I doubt these two "modern" forwards are as skillful.

Poor Cody Drameh. Fantastic for Luton last season but never has any luck with Leeds.
Rutter is starting to look the real deal. Farke playing two bigger guys and four up front against the team that were top was bold and if not for two defensive errors we'd have walked away comfortable 4-1 winners. Great to have an actual football coach after 18 months of whatever that was.

It’s good to have a back up forward for all these that want to leave. Although, simplistically, if it was just him, we could potentially have lost the game 3-1 or 3-0 without the other attacking options!

Not convinced by Ampadu or Rodon & Dramah & Hjelde have looked far off the pace this season so far. Hopefully we keep this squad and stay fit; we’ll be back to where we need to be… maybe a final piece of the puzzle is needed, but I’d be happy to wait until January so long as we don’t sell anymore. Too many have gone already

Fun game to watch and likely was more deserving of a draw as neither team should have came away with the loss. Ipswich in defeat was actually excellent and no reason to hang their heads. Leeds looked solid up front. They are going to cause many problems.
For that same reason on how Farke wants to play it will be emotionally taxing for Leeds fans because his style will let in goals and good attempts by the opposing team as well. Leeds will have to outscore the opposition in high scoring games. Not a fan of Farke but I have a feeling Leeds fans prefer style sometimes over wins-losses.
Good attacking. But we need to improve defensively.
