This team will smash the one we had last season. They were just a bunch of greedy soulless athletes that never cared about the result
They didn't have a good squad last season. That's why we got relegated and most of those players got sold and a new team and a new manager has been born.

Did you see Piroes reasons for coming to Leeds and not a Premier club? Because he was guaranteed a place at Leeds whereas he wasn't at any other Premier club that were interested,just shows the type of person he is

Beginning to see the promise from Struijk that he first showed under Bielsa. Now that he is been played in his natural position he is looking more and more solid in each game.

madness mate, i remember going to the coast on holiday on his club debut against wolves... it was 10+ years ago i watched it on the telly in a pub. now he's back and doing a job like he never left.

I’m not one for saying things are fake, but the bench don’t react at all, the crowd reaction looks delayed and don’t appear to be looking in the same direction in many cases. Or maybe the angle of the camera is misleading
The fitness level looks good. From defence into attack looks brilliant. Could be a good season. MOT.
This Leeds united team are looking good at the moment. Let's hope they keep up their good form, and don't crumble like they normally do. I must say though, this performance today was outstanding. I'm excited for more like this. 👍
Dan James is one of the most important players in the front four. Everyone does not need to be a good looking dribbling player. Sometimes you need a team player who wants to pass and who wants to defend. Its time we stop looking at James thru the 2021 lens when he was played striker. At RW he is a top player.
Absolute class this season, he creates goal chances out of thin air and his speed, not seen a winger that fast since Jason Wilcox.

Just want to shout out dan James his productivity has increased no end his final ball is looking so much better these days he put 3 on a plate this game and could have won a penalty if he did this in any other team in this division he'd be in the team if the week.
Hes on fire, no doubt about it, this is the best he has ever played.

He is absolute fire this season for Leeds.
Yeah, after the two assists against Millwall, which were both a bit lucky in their own way, there was nothing lucky about the two today. That first one for Piroe was inch-perfect and a beautifully taken corner too for Sam Byram’s header. The boy is really coming good and you can see his confidence ia starting to soar. Farke deserves a lot of credit for out-of-form players playing really well again. Struijk and Meslier as well as Dan James.
And people still slagging him off...?

Quick moan, why is leeds extended highlights 6.5 minutes when efl is 11? Surely it should be t'other way round, I know we're Yorkshire but do you have to be so tight? That aside, fantastic footy from the lads.

Rutter was onboard the showboat that day.
Not trying to be negative, but I feel like against deeper opposition we really struggle to score but when teams step up or play higher up we create a lot more and score more. For eg during this one Watford were deep in the first half and we couldn't finish our chances. They step up in the second half and we go and score 3.
First goal is essential. After that they can't camp out, or they lose. So forced to come deeper. Then the counters come. That's why after the first we should be getting 2 plus. Bare in mind those counters take around 5 to 8 seconds and the balls in the net. Hopefully.
The story of football. Parking the bus works, that's why teams have done it for 70 or 80 years. It's the hardest tactic to play against.
The misses in the first half weren't down to Watford playing deep. They were due to their keeper making some great saves and our forwards not being clinical enough.
Ampadu, Rutter, Summerville all very unlucky to have been denied by the keeper. Could've been another three or four.
The negatives l picked from this game is that Summerville was little more selfish ,
Antony on the other hand being a substitute means you have to peferct the mistakes of the other but there is a chance which he was supposed to pass to Piroe & he was selfish again
Watford's keeper played a blinder in the first half otherwise it could have been 5 or 6-0

It's a good game but I don't understand why Crisencio. Summerville He was in a good position to play and pass the ball to Joe Piroe to score, but he played himself differently than Rutter, who tried to pass the ball to the man in his best position.
He has been like this forever he always looks to shoot but his on ball skills is really good at this level
Hes still young it will come for him, he just needs good coaching, he hasn't had it for nearly 2 years.

Worst edit ever for "extended" highlights lads. Just adding in replays is not providing fans with extended highlights. Also, to have 30 secs pre and post match is not a highlight. Nor is pre match applause a highlight we want to watch, as included last week for the Millwall edit. How about 10mins highlights from kick off to final whistle, and you might have something worthy of being called "extended" highlights.
