When the video started I immediately took exception to the lack of prep work prior to opening the gearbox. Absolutely no attempt was made to clean the years of (dirt road) grit and crud off of that gearbox. So there was no surprise that all that shit was immediately attracted into the gearbox grease. So I thought "OK, don't be judgmental yet. Maybe someone else will be cleaning this thing while the repair is being machined"? No such luck. The newly machined repair was slapped together, dirt, grit and all. Not even a spec of fresh grease was added to replace what was lost from opening and wiping. Furthermore, when a shop returns the repaired item to the customer it should look like they took pride in their work. Handing it back to them looking like it did when brought in is unacceptable.
