- Emma has been back at the hospital for a week now. She's feeling nervous as she's still finding her feet, but is confident that with some refreshing training she'll soon be back up to scratch. First, Emma has to pass a competency test to refresh her blood taking skills. Emma also helps with a high risk caesarean with the lovely patient Hannah and finally we meet second time parents, Amy and Luke through their intense labour!

I’m so happy to see this series back! I look forward to new episodes!
I miss the episodes that depict young mothers. I feel like that content was very educational for teenagers and their family on unplanned (or planned) pregnancies. Origin covered each case with context and relevency and I hope to see more.
Along with pregnant and living on dole... the living on the dole episodes were super educational. I hope they come back! 🙏
the narrator has an awesome voice, I am glad they picked him again for the third season
Love seeing Emma back in her scrubs and cap for theatre 😊
So happy to see this series come back!!!!
Origin, are the episodes coming to you more censored or do you have to censor them now because of youtube? It's stinky if so but I absolutely appreciate you guys having this I love this series so much
I was wondering this too
RUclips new policies.
Congratulations to all of the moms. You've done an excellent job.
Very happy to see the series back too. Yayyyyyy.
Drawing blood should never cause pain. Ever. When in training they should have to practice on one another until they get it 100% perfect. Something as simple as a blood draw should never be the reason for a patients distress. Never. No excuse.
Wow! They don't keep you long in the hospital these days. I stayed 3 to 4 days when I had my babies. I can't imagine going home so soon after giving birth.
I was only in the hospital for 24 hour!
It's different in Europe. My cousin is from the Netherlands and there it's all home births unless something goes wrong then you go to the hospital
4 hours in australia after a normal vaginal birth.
I had a full week with my daughter, and almost a week with my son ( but I had c section with both. )
Oooh I loved this series I’m so excited to see another season!
These videos with Emma Willis eventually wind up being about Emma Willis. Her ego is huge. Emma is a very skilled actress.
I am a horrible blood donor. My veins don’t behave like the average. But I have given blood for research so research nurses know to feel for my good vein and go more at an angle (30 to 45 degrees). If you ever get an awkward blood donor listen to the patient, they’ve accumulated tips to get the gold standard vein 😂
I always tell them to use the butterfly for me, and if they can't get it at my elbow to go mid arm. So much blood given over 3 high risk pregnancies! lol
@@Shridra yes butterfly needle for the win!
I love 💗 watching labor and delivery birth vlogs on the RUclips channel app
Love watching this show❣️
Kim is absolutely amazing!
We love Emma
Congratulations to all the moms
OK Emma is adorable
Love Emma and this show but can the blur be eleminated?
nope.... blame RUclips for that
She kinda looks like Meredith off of greys
I thought that immediately too!
What’s with all the blurry moments ? It took the joy out of the Visio and I won’t be watching anymore
RUclips new policies. They will loose monitization if the put things YT doesn’t like in their videos
Why blur everything!!!
The blood practice makes me feel like I’m at work
Haha I’m a pathology nurse
Why do you need to blur the newborn?? Is youtube really getting that bad?? I have been a loyal sub for years and love this series but i dont understand the need to censor needles or newborns wirh possible blood etc. on them??
Is this a youtube thing or a channel thing? I love your content for it's reality and education. ORIGIN should not need to censor these things for YT IMHO. 💛💛
I am starting to think this is a new RUclips rule
Seems like this just started recently. I don't understand it either.
I'm guessing the mother/parents didn't approve of having the baby shown. Maybe not a RUclips thing, maybe a consent issue? I'm a teacher, and parents have had to sign consent for any photographs, even just for the yearbook. Not for any public distribution. Well, the website certainly would be public.I currently teach in juvenile corrections and there are state constitutional laws prohibiting juvenile offenders from being identified. The program I work in was on a national television show. The 3 kids that spoke were blurred out.
I don't know for sure of course. I don't watch a lot of channels on RUclips to compare it to. It was just a thought or wondering.
Hold on, I spoke too soon. I see the baby now. Not sure what the blurring out was? Maybe a parental decision, maybe a new policy?
@lizzroth8134 I completely understand that request for privacy. And I definitely feel that if they agreed to have the birth filmed for Origin they would have signed lots of papers. And totally get censoring the more private areas of course but the newborn on the chest being blurred is new to me. And needles?? If you don't want to watch ot look away. Some people can learn from that specific part of the video. Off my rant... I wonder if it's the blood or something else.. my husband is a surgeon and has a channel that shows some surgeries (not a lot) but sometimes and I'm wanting to look out for the new YT rules. ✌️
That poor woman being coached to push holding her breath on her back. Of course her baby is getting distressed she isn’t breathing so baby isn’t getting oxygen!
I wish I had a partner with my son like first girl birth
I don’t understand how a surgical birth can be safer for preventing blood loss than a vaginal birth.
Controlled environment. You cannot predict your placenta properly delivering in a vaginally birth therefore there's a massive risk of bleeding with a retained placenta. Also vaginal tears can bleed quite a lot. In a c section and all surgeries there is every effort taken to prevent blood loss and they also have the ability to quickly get the baby out. Vaginally you can get the baby out quickly if need be with forceps or a vacuum but there's a lot of risk to the baby.
The lady that had the cesarean didn't seem that far along. She was small.
Don't judge people's bellys, it is rude. If going into labour would be dangerous they will do the C-section one or two weeks prior to the due date.
The struggle is real with small preggo bellies!! Everyone keeps telling me how little I am at 6 months !!
Delivered a 8 lb kid and I went home in my pre pregnancy clothes. Lol
How could you be an effective Mother / Parent if you work 12 hour shifts. Where is the time for your children and husband ?
Why don’t we say the same thing about dads?
