Excellent album, had it when t came out. This along with Blodhemn I consider Enslaved's best work. For those who don't know and have been wondering, Mardraum is a term derived from Old Norse, where "mar" (mare) refers to a nightmarish being or demon, and "draum" means "dream." Together, Mardraum roughly translates to "nightmare" or "dream of terror."

Beyond underrated, even by Enslaved standards. Heavy, progressive, melancholic and blackened mastery
