2002-2006 CRV 6 speed conversion / Wavetrac LSD / Carbon synchros | PT1 Disassembly

In this episode, I begin doing the 6 speed SI gearset into the 2003 Honda CRV case. Additionally, I will be installing a Wavetrac LSD and Carbon Synchros.

Hi @hondaresource I had a 6 speed gear box put into my 5 speed accord. Now the Speedo don’t work. Swapped out the VSS to the one that came off the donor car but that hasn’t worked. I get code P0502 (VSS A circuit low) I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a solution. Any thoughts? Have to come across this yourself or know anywhere I can look to fix this. Car runs rich and goes into limp

Would you happen to know if a TSX shift mechanism can bolt onto the CRV? Or is there another solution to keep the reverse lock out?

No it will not. You would need a rsx type s mechanism.

Do you know about the difference in an England built and a Japan built 5spd automatic. ?

I'm not sure, but I know they aren't interchangeable

Why not just put civic si trans on crv bellhousing?? It has reverse lockout
