    I don't think your Xavier Worthy takes are you shitting on him, but I think there is a lot of information you are forgetting and/or missing with him in particular. Yes, a lot of the guys who have ran the fastest 40s at the combine are big busts or players who weren't fantasy relevant. However, his production profile in college absolutely BLOWS everyone on that list out of the water at the WR position. He had one of the best freshman seasons ever and still produced his sophomore season (playing all year with a broken hand) and again his junior season, out-targeting everyone on the team even with added competition like Mitchell (your WR4) , Sanders (your TE2), and Jonathan Brooks (your RB1). You also mentioned that he left a lot to be desired on tape and that a lot of his catches came on screens/there was a lack of downfield presence with all that speed. I can 1000% confidently say that is due to Quinn Ewers lack of accuracy downfield and inability to connect with his receivers on that part of the field. I can't tell you enough how painful it was to watch Ewers all year and him underthrow or just straight up miss Mitchell or Worthy when they would have multiple steps on a defender. The last thing I'll say is while Worthy may not be a complete route runner (while many aren't besides maybe Harrison) he is still a very solid one and absolutely SEPARATES. He gets open at a high clip and his speed is very rare. Whew! Anyways, sorry for the super long comment LOL. I love the stuff you guys put out and have been a big fan for a while. Btw WR11 is wild

      Speed in college is way more devastating than in the NFL. NFL defensive coordinators and safeties won’t allow worthy to get away with what he did in college. That’s why he outproduced his teammates in college, but he will be the worst out of the bunch in the NFL.

      I feel like Worthy doesn't have the competitive fire that we see with stud #1 wide receivers. If he doesn't get an amazing landing spot I don't see how he will be consistent in fantasy. A big question for me is- does he break 600 yards his rookie year no matter where he goes?

    • @nwk101
      @nwk101 10 месяцев назад

      @@crangusmcbasketball2931 what exactly can the other team do if he’s beating corners downfield because he’s faster? Yes, the NFL will be better at countering his speed at times, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be good. I think you’re underestimating what teams can get out of players. I think if he’s coachable and able to develop then he’s got all the upside. It’s just a matter of landing spot at this point.

    Spot on with Adonai Mitchell and Terry McLaurin is actually a surprisingly accurate comp. They actually run their routes very similarly with their smoothness, deceptive speed, and contested catch ability. A1 analysis

    Admittedly not the best at scouting/watching tape so would love if you included more film breakdown moving forward and explain what you’re looking at! You did that a bit in the RB video a couple weeks ago and I found it really helpful. Just would love to know exactly what to look at

    • @nwk101
      @nwk101 10 месяцев назад +1

      I agree. I love their stuff a ton when it comes to fantasy but I find it hard to trust really anybody in the industry who says they “watched the tape” and know what they’re seeing. There’s so many little things that go into route running and ability to separate. Everybody claims to know what is good or bad about tape so I just take it all with a grain of salt.

    SF 12 Team start 10: Would you trade 1.03 and 1.07 for Waddle, Olave and 1.08?

    • @bigtimebrien
      @bigtimebrien 10 месяцев назад

      If it’s TE premium the 1.07 and 1.08 are a decent gap, if not they’re similar, Olave is 1 or 2 tiers below 1.03 assuming it’s marv, and then waddle on top? Seems like a good move for the waddle and Olave content

    • @willemkrantz438
      @willemkrantz438 10 месяцев назад

      Yes do this 100%, 1.03 will likely be a Qb and if thats not a need on your team it is worth trading it. Plus you are getting 2 proven talents at receiver and the slide of one pick is not a massive deal unless you really want Brock Bowers

    • @brendonbuffaloe8830
      @brendonbuffaloe8830 10 месяцев назад

      I’d probably take this because you can still get a great player at 1.08. If you’re not set at QB though, it’s probably better to go QB at 1.03

      I have 1.2, 1.4, 1.7 1.12
      I'm taking best landing spot of nabors/odunze, then probably bowers if the oither guy isn't taken and then I'm taking the best running back at 1.7 and hopefully a qb at 1.12.
      Trey Benson or Jonathan Brooks aren't guys that will fall too far in the 2nd round, and its more valuable to have a top rb in the class, especially when you can load up on a #2 wide receiver anywhere in the 2nd. To keep a balanced roster, especially with a ton of picks you don't want a gap in years with your running backs. Youll always have a next man up every year.
