You mentioned that there were value boxes at trade night... is that common at Trade Nights for shows? I am a value box guy and I have stayed away from Trade nights because it seemed like it was all showcase stuff. Thanks for the videos, learning a lot.
Yes to a degree but depends what it is. I dont think it would ever be worth going to one with a value box and thats it. I would take some of the more expensive cards out, price them and then bring the value box if anything. If its a bunch of 5-10 dollar cards it rough to make deals at these.
Yes and no. Some dealers had their value boxes out since they were more or less set up for the show the next day already. There are a lot of people who walk around with a bunch of lower end cards. Sometimes seeing all of the Zion cases can be deceiving because having a case like doesn't always equate to high end cards being in there. If you want $5-$10 cards, there will be people to trade with at almost every trade night. If you're looking more for quarter or dollar boxes, that might be a little more challenging. Hope that helps.
This is his entire channel pretty much. Many people enjoy it like myself because we like to learn and mend to our mistakes. If you want more cards and less talking I recommend you watching someone like CardCollector2 or Trike145.
Love to learn new things as well. Nice to see.
Thanks!
Appreciate your insights man, it’s helped a lot with confidence/mindset going into shows.
Glad to hear!
These are some of my favorite videos JT! Love seeing behind the dealer table perspective!
Thank you!
Always enjoy these videos JT!

This video is terrible because you talked too much and didn’t show the cards well.
