Edit: I've been retesting, and I realized I can use red emblems, since the stat boosts/losses are minor. I mainly have 7 red and 3 yellow. Red gives 8% AS while brown gives 4% AD, so perhaps Red is more efficient on autoattackers like mean look Umbreon. I take 3 yellow cause Umbreon is super slow for roaming. Then I take Rapid fire scarf. At level 4 it actually enables 4 autos instead of 3 under Mean look. At level 11 it doesn't by itself do anything. With X Attack, at level 4 you actually get 5 autos, and at level 11 you get 6 autos instead of 5. I haven't tested Rapid fire scarf + Muscle band. At level 4, X Attack nets you 5 autos instead of 4 which is 125% boost, and you deal like 759 instead of 665 dmg, which is a 114% boost to dmg. In total X Attack gives a 143% boost at level 4, which is pretty good for cheese dmg.
I played a match and my plan is once I hit level 4 I wait for someone to over extend and then me and my teammate wallomp them.
I also want to try Venusaur with X Attack, Rapidfire scarf, Muscle band, and attack speed emblems for the maximum autoattack dmg and CC.
I've been trying Weakness Policy, AtkSpeed item, and Float stone. I was using Rapid-fire Scarf but in practice area it didn't provide an extra auto for the duration of Mean look, so I'm gonna try Muscle band. I could try attack speed emblems + Rapid-fire scarf once I get enough red emblems. I take 3 yellow for the move speed for roaming, and I have +49 move speed from my emblems. My primary is 6 brown for damage.

Gonna be honest. Running full hp items with foul play snarl feels nasty. You don’t need atk cause snarl works like it’s original version in the base games and enemies just don’t do any dmg . And you have some actual mobility. You just can’t catch an adc without foul play. They just kite you to oblivion while sitting outside mean look range and u just die without doing anything for the team

This! Was waiting for someone to say this. Mean look is like clefable slow zone. Good for the lockdown on urshifu, and Zacians to het them off your team. But snarl and foul play combo so well together especially since you can snarl and repostion it with foul for the chain cc combo.

Literally my first attempt at playing Umbreon and:
- Shivre City (Eevee Appeal-o-rama)
- my team: Umbreon (me), Sylveon, two Espeons
- Enemy team: *FOUR UMBREONS*
At one point I was outnumbered 1v4 (aka. entire enemy team on me) and it STILL took them well over 10 seconds to actually take me out. My build isn't anything super specific either, just Mean Look+Wish with full stacks of Aeos Cookie and a Drain Crown...

u know what shedinja doll is actually the best counter for mean look, wonder why they didn't released it and even removed it from pts, i think they actually removed it just so that mean look can't be countered and they could make some money in the 1st week until it gets available for coins. Although in current scenario if u turn invisible before umbreon using mean look, that's the only way, it could be done using full heal or through passive for glaceon Or through zoroark illusion, although i doubt about full heal because full heal makes u unstoppable and umbreon can stop dodrio and lapras unites which are unstoppable, so not sure about full heal

Mean look is ridiculous. Can we get a nerf? I mean he completely counters melee pokemon if you have some support attacking from a distance. He lasts too long, at least to me it seems to be the longer cc in the game. It boosts umbreon attacks, so he gets cc with bonus damage, ridiculous. Pokémon can't dash away from it, i mean it would be fair if you had to waste a movement ability to get away from it, but no it restrains you permanently without options in that kill zone. Its completely unbalanced to have to use full heal with perfect timing to counter a sure hit 7 seconds cool down ability just to get caught in it second seconds later if you don't manage to kill him or 30 seconds later after he respaws and your item is still in cooldown. The way it is now you have to play completely passive against him.

Chandelure and most ADC’s can also work really well but are more team dependent

Wish is over all pretty underperforming. Only if you have enemies who damage you and then leave you alone to spam it, wish does something. Otherwise, the nerf and CC from Gnarl outperforms Wish by a dimension
